It's been a month since my last upload! For those who don't know yet, I recently became a dad with baby arriving earlier than planned. I wrote a whole post about it on my community page but with all of this joy also comes a lot of responsibility and I want to be present and support my wife. Please bear with me as I won't be uploading again until end of the month! Thanks for your ongoing support!

Thanks for the headache-saving tips, Jacques. What focus transition speeds would you recommend for those of us shooting in 60p? Would it be more like 5 instead of 7?
Amazing tips, thanks for adding a lot of value to the video community, quick question what do you recommend for start using a gimbal, the old DJI RSC 2 Pro Combo, or the new DJI RS3 basic option?
This video was awesome to watch and taught me how to use the focus better. Thank you!

Jacques you are hands down my favorite creator on youtube. Your videos are so helpful!! Question - what is the best auto focus mode to use for multiple people in one shot? Just looking to keep everybody in focus and not one specific person with Eye AF. How should I go about this?
I’ll say exactly the same as last time - more videos please because it’s exceptional :)

Hi, thanks for the tipps! I'm curuis to know how you fixed the Ninja on your RS3, I don't find very practical to have it behind the camera, on the side seems better to me. Greetz from France
Mooi man Jacques. Subscribed.
Lekker man, dankie vir jou ondersteuning!
Awesome tips Jacques! Was nice meeting you at the Alpha show in George! Looking forward checking out all your other videos.
Lekker bru, likewise! Glad you found it helpful!
Very useful
respect my friend to publish a video after the newborn, your dedication Appreciate!
You are so kind! Thank you for your support! 🙏
super tuto ! very helpful. I have an a7m4 for several months and am a newbie in video. I didn't understand how and why using this or that AF modes,... - Why don't you use LCD tracking all the time with eye detection instead of switching between wide, zone,... I finally did it for photo. I point the camera on subject, half press shutter and track. - Why doesn't Sony implement tracking focus areas (tracking expanded spot...) in EVF instead of using LCD (even LCD in a small relative zone while looking in EVF). - What's next now on your channel ? I would be very interested with other such detailed tutos or video courses. Also how to use HD and slow motion for beginners and profiles PP9/PP11 for advanced users. manual focus seems nice to learn (with focus peaking or map zone ?) ! Lot of topics...
OMG- what a video. Loved it.... not a single second where I have to skip, everything in the video is so awesome. Recently got A7R V. in dark locations my other brand was doing too much hunting. Hope sony wide mode spot large mode will helps. ( I am new to events videography)
So happy to hear that, these settings will work amazing on the A7RV! Happy filming!
Have you tried "tracking" mode? I'm not sure about the a7iv, but I just got the a7rv and use two modes for both stills and video (it's sticky like glue). I use "tracking" and "face/subject detection" tracking assigned to 2 custom buttons.
Very helpful!
Happy to hear that, thanks guy!
Is there any monitor which supports autofocus tap and tracking on Sony a7siii? Also which codec and lut did you use for this video in a7siii
What lens did you shoot the wide shots with in the furniture store? Looks beautiful. Did you use a mist filter?
Thanks for this video man. Love your content.
Glad you enjoy it man, thanks for the comment! 🙏
Jacques thanks so so much. This helps me so much
Thank you so much Marvin, I'm happy to have your support!
Perfectly clear
Happy to hear! 🙏
I had switch settings to Touch Tracking to get the tracker to work. Setup>Touch Operation>Touch Func. In Shooting>Touch Tracking ….And thanks Jacques for this and big congrats to you on becoming a dad!!
Amazing video, thank you for share this tips. I really appreciate.
You are so welcome! Really appreciate the comment! 🙏
Great tips. Thank you.

Simply GREAT
Really glad you think so! 🙏🏼
Another awesome video. Jacques do you have any films or short films on KZhead that you shot?
In photo mode, the boxes around eyes or faces or whatever turning green is useful. I wish In video, it could show something similar. I feel like I've missed shots because the displayed info wasn't sufficient
Super helpful!!! Thank youu
Glad to hear! Thanks for the support! 🙏
Fantastic tips Jacques!

Super useful, help me to learn how to get a proper focus
Great to hear! Thank you for your comment! 🙏
So well explained. It took me weeks to work all this out. I wish you had made this before. Got to say though, WTF is that doode in the green coat doing at 5:03 if he's supposed to be guiding you he really shouldn't be watching the monitor, that's your job. I'd have clocked him one for that.
