Two flocks of sheep are searching for companionship. But their shepherds, being at odds with each other, do everything to keep them separated.

  • I can safely say that I did not expect a single thing that happened in this. Edit: so it’s been over a year now and I can safely say that I did not expect this comment to get so many likes and reply’s. I can always tell when this video is making the round cuz I’ll get notifications of people agreeing with me or calling me an idiot or whatever haha. It’s an interesting little video and I’m glad that I clicked on it back then.

  • The sheep were kind of like people; they all looked the same so they wanted to all flock together. When the shepherds finally sheared the sheep to reflect which ones belonged to which shepherd, the sheep realized that they were no longer the same as each other and warred against each other, killing all of them. 🥺Excellent work! ❤

  • Moral of the story: Separating individuals is never a good idea. If you put up rules (fences) that restrict what some of them can/can't do, they will always harm themselves on them. And if you convince them of being separate groups, conflict is inevitable.

    • Sheep are the result of thousands of years of domestication. They were once wild goats capable of surviving by themselves. Today they could not survive a day without their masters. Their body and mind has been damaged to much that they are incapable of thinking for themselves. Sadly freedom can only be achieved almost individually in a very small scale.

    • Best explanation on this comment section. If you think about it, mankind was separated just like theses sheep's or we wouldn't have language barriers. I feel as though life is a means that recycle. Like earth doesn't live forever according to science. Big bang is bound to happen once more. But what I'm thinking if their is a god, and every continent was once whole, how did we manage to make different languages? It's like the smallest change within creation makes a huge outcome. But if we think about it most could have been avoided and not even seen as a barrier. People from one country traveled to the next for trading. If language barrier was really a huge factor they wouldn't be able too. But I guess money is a language everyone can understand

    • Separating the two groups was the whole purpose of the sheppards. Ironically the sheep intermingled from the onset of the encounter and were impossible to separate back into the group they came from. The whole exercise was pointless.

  • Remarkably, as a shepherd, i found this very accurate! Sheep can be very self-destructive if they are not well controlled. I just had to give tetanus and antibiotic shots to a couple of rams that had smashed through a welded steel fence because I opened a gate that led to fresh grass in a pasture over 400 feet away. Incredibly they were not even interested in the grass once they got there…they wanted only to keep each other from eating grass!     • My step-dad is a dairy farmer, he rents some of his land out to a local shepherd over winter each year. A couple of years ago a brook burst it's banks and the shepherd lost 5 sheep to drowning. All they had to do it walk 10 feet until they reached a hill, but they all decided to stay where they were until they were cut off from the hill by the flood. Not a lick of sense in them.
