Hey Scott, is it possible you could review the Saiga Shotgun or the AA-12?
Love your videos man
You should try a 12 gauge shotgun with the most powerful bullet vs a tank hatch door 😮
I left the comment in the so people can see also forgot to type when I was born 2002
I tagged you in a tiktok video about a new body armor rated for 50BMG
No one is more qualified to one hand pistol fire a shotgun than Scott.
well i mean if Brandon ever gets the attachment, I'm sure he would pull it off.
Please let this end with a dual wield SPAZ-12 mag dump

The Jurassic Park reference in the beginning made me laugh, this is great keep up the good work!
Hell will freeze over before I stop enjoying your videos

Worth it.
I really love how Scott is tormented by a t Rex and furbies from the 90s. He has a genuine disorder that causes him to HAVE to shoot watermelons when the appropriate time strikes. Absolutely love the content, always brings some comfort in hard times
The one-handed SPAS and the Arnold laugh convinced me that Scott should become the next Terminator.
The one that Arnold Schwartzeneger (in Terminator I) used, was an Italian Franchi, not a SPAS 2.
@@tomwinters4576 The SPAS was *ALWAYS* Italian, what are you talking about?
@@Nothingness886 Ah, oke. Thanks
It's insane how the SPAS is still one of the best looking guns ever created, even after all these years. I mean look at that thing!
GORGEOUS!!! This was one of the weapons that got me in to firearms. So friggin iconic!
italian design
Heck yeah! Charlie Sheen used it in The Wraith against Packard and his gang👍
I've always wondered why no one's tried to make a furniture kit for a Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870 that mimicked the SPAS-12. I bet one of the Turkish companies could put out a pump-only visual copy for less than $600. And I bet they'd sell like hotcakes as long as they were halfway decently built.
I got a lot of love for it but it isn't the most comfortable thing to shoot
fun fact: did you know Franchi (the company who made the spas) renamed it in the 1990s to be able to continue sales in the US? it went from the Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun to the Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun, because congress was ready to add it to the ban list over it's name no, i wish i was kidding
Much like my MAK-90 Sport rifle. It’s a Chinese AK-47 with a name change (90 as is 1990) to make it sound less dangerous. And a thumb stock to get around George Bushes imported assault weapons ban. (Yeah, not just democrats who pull that crap)
NFA amirite?
that didnt save the USAS 12 so i doubt that did anything at all to sway their opinion. considering the USAS stands for Universal Sporting Automatic Shotgun
u could name a BB gun the assault killer 9000 and the atf would ban it
Yep.
I remember the Spas-12 from the Half-Life and Left 4 Dead series, and it always was my favorite gun to use in those games!
I didnt know that the spas-12 was the shotgun in half life until i found out that you can unfold it so i never knew it was the spas and the spas-12 is my favorite weapon in l4d2 due to it killing tanks pretty easily

I bet it's a feeling like getting a good rejection in basketball. "OHHH get that out of here"
The most amazing part of this video is when Scott shot the tops off the canisters (one handed) without hitting the actual container at 9:14. Impressive
So i'm here to stop the Kids saying this gun is from fortnite.
I thought it was from special forces group 2 when I first saw it
Its from gta 3 😁
Omg it’s the gun from Cold War
That one kid “😭☝️ it’s from fortnite” grandpa:what’s a fortnight?
HL1, anyone?
I wonder if Brandon ever got a replacement for the hook on the buttstock. If he hasn't, rub it in his face that you have a complete one. 😂 I remember him saying that finding one, and at a fair price, was almost impossible. Sweet shotgun.
The hook is missing from lots of them, it makes the gun unwieldy, catch on your clothes, etc and importing parts from France is a nogo now. I got lucky that mine was still with the gun, but i had to replace the buffer, mag spring, and some other springs and it was a PITA to get them. Buffers are available now at least... Problematic gun, but iconic.
@@BadHaddy I got a good practical use for said hook. Use it, with the safety on, to grab a drink bottle, food, TV remote control, etc., for when you’re so stuffed with food and you feel so lethargic.
He owns a company that makes guns…wouldn’t you think he could just have one of his gunsmiths just make a new hook?? Haha Some people just don’t like making sense
@@thesavage6484 He's done that. He wanted an original hook, which he can't make.
He broke his when he shot it with demo ranch. Wonder if he fixed it
One thing to be careful with, Scott is the lever type safety. They have a defect that will fire the gun if you take the safeties (yeah there are two, its really dumb) off in the wrong order. Later models have a cross bolt safety that replaces the lever safety. Might be worth chasing down a retrofit if they're available, for you and your camera operators' sake.
Really? That's scary as hell.
@pops55650 1 second ago True ask me how I know lol. I only load when I’m actually shooting, keeping it pointed in a safe until I can find a cross bolt safety. I was trying to see which safety he had
Owning a Spas-12 is like having a junkyard pit-bull, its mean looking, even meaner to strangers and often hurts its owner.
I was luckily able to track down a replacement cross bolt safety for mine several years ago. Cost damn near as much as the gun itself!
I still remember that day when your .50 BMG rifle blew up, man. Glad to still have you around even after that day, man. God's definitely been good to you. Stay awesome!
These are so badass. I wish there was a well established, affordable, and reliable clone being made today. Functionally, the Benelli M3 is similar, but that’s very hard to find and very expensive (the only one I’ve come across was $2,000). I also just personally love the look of the SPAS, including the fore-end and the fold-over stock. Too bad more shotguns don’t have that kind of stock!
Going from Forgotten weapons to Kentucky ballistics is like going from the history channel to Nickelodeon
And then we all head over to Demolition Ranch afterwards as long as don't tell Mare.
No, History Channel to 2000s/very early 2010s Cartoon Network
@@cocodojoBut seriously tho, don't tell Mare that he bought his fifth Glock this week... 😂

Sucks to hear that the Spas-12 aren't being made anymore. One of my favorites shotguns. I hope to find one some day.
How much you willing to pay? A few of us have them and also have FFLs.
Is it a cool shotgun absolutely are most willing to pay Seven Grand for one no
Same. My family has some Italian in us and when i found out the SPAS 12 was Italian too, i knew i had to find one when i can
I bought a SPAS-12 in the late 80's. It was a toss up between that and a Benelli M-1 Super 90. I chose the SPAS strictly because of the way it looked. Started shooting it and regretted my decision. Sold the SPAS (at a loss) and bought a M-1 at a higher than original price. I eventually sold the Benelli as other shotguns became available. Today I regret selling the SPAS. That's TWO regrets for one shotgun. If I kept the SPAS I would probably still have it today since it was so COOOOL looking.
@@Natd0gsefgot mine for 3…just sayin….

A humble man. Scott just wins everybody's heart. Humor, Suave Cool, Down-to-earth personality. This lad is everything.
I've always also been curious about the SPAS-12's successor, the SPAS-15. I hear it's even harder to find than the SPAS-12, but I hope you'd be able to make a video on it!
The fact is Spas 15 is extremely rare in US. I saw one at the gun shop long time ago. Thanks a lot to the politicians. They banned it because of scary look. Spas15 have a same function to spas12 but with mag fed. When parts broke, have to have special orders from Italy.
Honestly? I think the spas 15 is kinda lame. I dunno. Just never appealed to me the same way the 12 did. The spas 12 reminded me alot of the doom 3 pump shotgun.
@@BigWheel.correction : half life 1 and 2 shotgun
@@BigWheel. To each his own, of course, but I like it. To me it seems like an AR-15's obnoxious cousin.
@@TheHitman644 A friend of mine has one over here in Ireland, alongside a SPAS12.Both are cool looking guns, but in reality they do nothing better than a normal pump or semi auto would do,and the SPAS15 is an utter horror for a military/police gun.Sooo many little fiddley bits that could get lost in a field strip. They are fun guns when they work, but if you want relibleability in a pump/semi pick up a Benelli M3 and be done with it.
Scott, I'm always informing loved ones while we're watching your videos that you have guns that are near impossible to get a hold of. The SPAS-12 is yet another one. The gun fairy is alive and well in your life.
Ive always adored this gun in every depiction its in but its really cool to finally know just how switching between semi auto and pump action works!
Anyone remember that mission in Black Ops where they gave you a SPAS-12 with Dragon’s Breath rounds? My favorite mission.
The image of Scott firing that thing one handed, straight arm and only sway slightly, will stay by me forever 5:15
The Benelli M3 definitely deserves to be featured. Works exactly like the spas 12, but functions better, and is still being made
Even more of a reason to have made this video instead/first
Some guns are chosen for looks over functionality
I have a Benelli M1 and it’s lighter and faster than my SPAS-12
Ever heard of someone modding (more like "Bubba-ing" in all likelihood) an M3 to look like a SPAS-12?

How the heck did you find a SPAS-12 that never been fired? That's nuts. Can't imagine how much that went for. It's such a cool looking shotty.
The seller probably lied. That's how.
Even more surprising if that gun was legit imported, dont know how easy would be to get an italian shotgun in the US
@@alexlabs4858it's not hard to verify if a shotgun has been fired before. If Scott says it was a virgin shottie, he's probably right.
Also with the hook
A lot of people probably bought SPAS-12s back in the day just as collector or display pieces, so it's entirely likely they didn't fire it. There were never that many imported, so most people using a beater shotgun for practical use probably would've just been using a Mossberg 500 or Remington 870.

Love the T Rex chess game intro. The SPAS-12 is a very unique shotgun. It seems a shame that they stopped producing them. I saw some online and they are not cheap which is what you would expect. Another great video Scott. Keep up the good work, live long and prosper.
My favorite part of the intro is how it clearly becomes separate takes once a firearm gets involved. Safety is king.

Very accurate shooting Scott! Even with all of the comedy there was some pretty impressive shooting from you and the SPAS-12. Great video!!
I find it hilarious that this video mostly consists of Scott having too much fun with the spas 12 (also WATERMELON TIME RETURNS!!!)
whenever i see someone with a SPAS-12, i'm both so happy for them and so jealous, haha, but i'm especially happy that you have one, because you deserve it! if i could get 2 shotguns from any point in time, it'd be the SPAS-12 and the winchester 1897 (which i'd love to see you with!). both of them are so cool and unique compared to other shotguns, and i wish someone would remake them so i don't have to pay the very steep price that they have on the aftermarket nowadays 😅 the benelli M3 exists, sure. . . but it doesn't look as cool as the SPAS-12. . .
I remember holding this shotgun in a gun store in Amsterdam (The Netherlands); it was surprisingly light for a gun that size. Of course, I just had to hold it with one hand, with the hook below my arm for balance.🙂
I know it’s been in lots of films but it’ll always be the jurrasic park gun to me. Utterly iconic.,
4:19 that muscle jiggle its a sexy gun
Imagine having a hike around the woods, steering off trail to the deep forest, then you hear Scott histerically laughing while unleashing hell on countless cans of nacho cheese, coke bottles and watermelons
It's so great to see Rex, he makes me smile. 😂
Can't believe that you had an absolutely flawless run with that SPAS-12. Hope it continues to serve you well~! Thanks for the fun video, Scott~!
The issues I had with mine (which I regret selling) were all "operator induced". And I knew I had cause a problem the moment I pulled the trigger.
They have a reputation of being picky guns, but the thing is really that the semi-auto mode is designed and built with the expectation that you're going to be running it with high powered combat loads, and if you just feed it that, the action is going to cycle that just fine. The pump-action mode is there for running low powered loads, that's the entire point of that. Now, these guns do depend on a little recoil buffer pad so that the bolt doesn't beat up the receiver in the semi-auto mode, and if that pad has dried out and pulverized (because it's 30 years old), or it's missing, you're gonna get some funky behavior, and the bolt is gonna beat up the gun, which isn't good. Getting a replacement recoil buffer pad is easy to do though, there's people who make cheap and high quality replacements which will be good for another couple of decades. Buy a bunch and keep the spares sealed in their packaging and you're good for life. It's a little clunky, a little quirky, but if you get to know the thing, the SPAS-12 will run very well for you.
What an opening to the video.. that was really funny 😂.. thanks Scott
I watch all your videos and seeing you 1 hand that SPAS was not only impressive but satisfying. Keep up the great work.
I hope you learned from Brandon. Not to destroy your spas, check the buffer or whatever. It is at the end of the recoil spring
It will def crack and break. SPAS 12 Project has replacements.

3:37 lol here in az its been in the hundreds today it was 102 lol
I love the slow mo with the wadding flying behind the shot as if to say "hey wait up guys, I wanna play too!" Such a kickass gun, I'm only a little lot jealous that you found a pristine example.
If these things were still in production, and we didn't have all the red tape, I would buy one in a heartbeat. Maybe it's just a case of wanting what you can't have, but that gun is BEAUTIFUL. Thank you, Scott, for shooting the guns the rest of us can't.❤❤
I was just saying to my gf how I can't believe no one is at least remaking them. Brownells or PSA!!! Hop on that!!
My Dad had one back in the 80s and it was gorgeous, but the pump action was very stiff and unwieldy. Ended up trading it.
Lol some of the values in the commentary. Retail price US was $1,500 in its final production year. It's estimated only 2-3 thousand ever made it to the US because of previous bans. If you can find one for under $3,000 it probably needs work done and is missing the forearm hook/carry handle or the entire folding stock. Conservatively the Spas-12 in good working order with or with any safety or bushing upgrades should hold a value of no less than $4,000 but I'm sure an unfired mint condition Spas-12 would command much more and possibly over 5-8k. The limited amount available in conjunction with a following like none other makes this a very valuable addition to any gun collections..Good day and thanks for another amazing vid..👍
Scott please be careful as it appears you have the old style safety which still have problems with rounds firing even when the gun is in safe mode. The push button safety is the one which fixed this issue.
Mine has the old lever switch and I’ve never had an accidental discharge….. and believe me I’ve tried to get the thing to do it!
Pure. Entertainment. Thanks!
I knew a guy in highschool that had one. Years later, I ended up getting a Benelli M3, which has the same pump/semi action with none of the feeding issues; not as iconic but I love it.
10:46 if you play it at X2 speed, you'll get rick rolled
SPAS12 that's never been fired and runs perfectly? Lucky you, Scotty. Also, buckshot makes for a really nice splat effect!

I remember the last time you had it on the channel. It was so amazing! I first saw the SPAS12 in Jurassic Park (1993) and immediately fell in love with it. I was about 5-7 years old and every fantasy of mine had a SPAS12
This gun is my favoritest shotgun ever. Pretty fantastic shotgun also.
This entire is video is just Scott having the time of his life
Aside from the awesomeness of the SPAS12, around 6 minutes in when the steel is being addressed - you can see the shot going downrange. Rarely have I seen that before. Very neat.
Own a spas-12, its iconic, but honestly, it's a pretty crummy shotgun. They have parts that age and wear out, and are hard to get now. Primarily the buffers and the springs. It's heavy and operation clunky and unintuitive. But i'll be damned if it doesnt have a look!
@@BadHaddy Kind of sad to hear that. I’ve never handled a SPAS. In the U.K. they exist, on Firearms licenses, but I’ve never seen one for sale here.
I own one and the problems are exaggerated honestly. The original parts do go bad and wear out, but there are people selling replacement parts that last longer. Definitely heavy, but that also massively cuts down on recoil so I routinely dump 100 to 200 shells through mine. And even the overcomplicated controls are intuitive once you realize it’s a combination shotgun with both auto and pump shotgun controls and so long as you know which button corresponds with which, it’s not too bad.
This heatwave is brutal! You looked like you were melting out there, Scott. Good to see the iconic Spas 12 on the channel.
