💨 Winter Storm Ambience with Icy Howling Wind Sounds for Sleeping, Relaxing and Studying Background.

Heavy snowstorm in the cold mountains . Imagine you lying in bed under a thick warm blanket listening to the icy howling wind and falling snow on the roof. No noises from people talking and heavy traffic keeping you awake. These howling wind sounds are the best background sounds for sleeping, relaxing and studying. We hope you enjoy this calming winter ambience! Good sleep!!
◼ All my soundscape videos are made in high quality with editing programs such as Vegas Pro, Photoshop and Audacity, and take many hours / days of editing and mixing to create. The equipment I use to record the audio are the Zoom H5 or H6 recorder + Audio-Technica BP4025 microphone, and for the videos I use the GoPro Hero6. Some video and audio files are made in collaboration with other video / audio creators with all the licenses & commercial use rights that are necessary. I mixed these video or audio files with the creation of myself. Sometimes I use a photo and make a moving video of it.

    • No, l love winter too :) the bitter cold bites your cheeks so hard but, it evens out when you take in the winter eventually :) Winter is awesome, and the bitter cold has its benefits, and besides, it's just nice to walk in the bitter cold sometimes and then walk into your house for a warm meal to warm you up after the cold :) l am myself originally from Sweden, and l couldn't DREAM to live anywhere else in a tempered climate, l need the cold to survive! But yea, l agree that winter is indeed cold, hard, empty and surreal. But somehow, it is just soo comferting! winter is just in my heart and it's just something special about it that makes me want to keep living here ☺ Själv älskar jag kylan och jag skulle aldrig kunna leva i ett varmt klimat! Kylan och vintern hör jag hemma vid och jag kommer aldrig att flytta från Sverige! Sverige är mitt hem och mitt kall 😊

  • Hey you. Yes, you. You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am, reading all these motivational comments. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well ❤

  • I grew up in New England in a home surrounded by the woods. I wasn’t the most social kid and I was happy with my own company. I would spend hours playing outside in the snow, making forts and climbing trees. And every now and then I would just stop and look up. Sometimes I’d just fall back, into the soft snow. And I’d listen. This is the sound I would hear. Ahh, so relaxing. Near silence. It was a simple time of my life, one I miss dearly. Sometimes I wish I could return to it, even just for a moment.

    • I watched a reconstruction of George Washington's cabin. He wrote down all the dimensions of the cabin,fireplace,etc.. . I forget exactly but the fireplace walls we're every bit 2 feet wide or thick. Logs were used to give it structure and then clay mixed with straw was packed in for stability. Ofcourse it narrowed some going up to the chimney but it had to be stout. So I believe they would pack on massive layers and keep that fire raging . Still I'm sure it would get very cold.

We have frozen and dried meats, preserved fruits, nuts and seeds. Right now I'm resting in my coziest chair, beneath a pair of quilts, beside the fireplace. I have a shelf full of books but I'm a bit too tired to read. Perhaps I'll just close my eyes and listen to the wind whip against the window panes. The world is scary sometimes, but I am at peace now in my simple cabin, in the remotest of places, beneath the blanket of snow.

Commuting, being home or at the university and looking out the window to the beautiful snow falling, anything at all the winter makes wonderful.
