  • Driving with TGT-II with T-LCM a bit less then a year - completely happy with my first wheel in GT7, ACC, EA WRC (yes, there is still a problem with wheelbase detection, but anyways), still not thinking about an upgrade 👍

    • TGT still remains one of my favorites. It showed me how fun haptics in a steering wheel can actually be. Absolutely a good setup you have.

  • Hi, thx for your Videos! Great that they are with german subtitles! One question: Do you think that the 8 NM power of cammus c5 is enough for drivers they not drive every day? (Maybe twice a week) Sorry for my english.😅

    @philippehnert1578@philippehnert157821 күн бұрын
    • If it is your first wheel and you only drive once or twice a week for now, yes, the C5 has enough power to make it a very pleasant experience already. Dont be sorry friend, as long as we understand eachother, its the most important 👌💙

  • Bought a thrustmaster t300rs gt and really like it! Force feedback is pretty good although I do get some ff loss without ac when the room is a bit hot. Would love a direct drive but will need to save up a bit more for that.

    @justinchin0@justinchin021 күн бұрын
    • Unfortunately a side-product of integrating a PSU in a base and not designing a proper way to get rid of the warmth. For the rest, like you say, the FFB is certainly enough to guarantee a good time with it.

  • Great video. It's pretty consistent with my research and preference. I'm a first timer, g923 owner and looking at the G Pro to be my first and last upgrade.

    • It is a very nice piece of hardware. A bit of a hidden gem. Like with the T-GT, you really need to drive it before you can actually understand its value.

  • Hi, nice video! i did order the Fanatec Clubsport DD plus literally hours before this video came out!. I had been waiting for several months though. I come from a T248, so this is idd a very big upgrade. hesitated for a long time between the DD pro 8Nm or the DD Clubsport pro plus 12 Nm. I hope i made a good choice. Now just my SimXpro GT-RS, and I'm there ;-)

    • Well it will be a step up for sure. The T248 is a very nice sensation already but once you tasted direct drive, you will never go back. Enjoy friend and may the GT RS Carry your ass as good as it does mine 😏

  • It would be great if you could add chapters to longer videos like this. For example, I don’t really care about the entry level wheelbases and would like to skip over that section.

  • Fanatec Gt dd pro is great to start. The clubsport dd+ is a beast and blows away the g pro even without talking full force into account

    @davidcupra4913@davidcupra491321 күн бұрын
    • I love the GT DD Pro. It remains an icon as the first really affordable DD. I do however take TrueForce in account and hopefully Fullforce will prove to be an asset as important as TF is for the G Pro.

  • You just can't get a better buy than the csl dd and an ali express 8nm boost kit. The cammus line up however looks good value!

    @GregoryShtevensh@GregoryShtevensh21 күн бұрын
    • Absolutely. I still will advise Fanatec too. Its a very good piece of hardware at great value... but like you say, the 150€ for the official PSU... mèh

      @SimulatedDrivingResource@SimulatedDrivingResource21 күн бұрын
    • @@SimulatedDrivingResource haha yep 100% but at least it opens the door for DIY'ers /aftermarket boost kits. It's actually one area though that I feel Fanatec could make some quick sales if they did it discounted and they wouldn't lose much on it

  • I own a Logitech G Pro wheel run it at 8 or 8.5NM depending on the sim for daily use and its been perfect and honestly the Trueforce haptic system in the wheel in games like iRacing is actually better than I was expecting it to ever be (I tried Trueforce on a G923 was never impressed but its a diffrent beast on the Pro wheel)

    @arranmc182@arranmc18221 күн бұрын
    • Agree, I also own a G Pro. today the Trueforce cut out in the middle of a race (GT7 glich), I felt something was instantly wrong, felt like I didn't even want to finish the race. Just logged out and back in and all was fixed. Once you feel Trueforce you never want to loose it.

      @storypunman@storypunman21 күн бұрын
    • Yeah boosted media said that too. But there's just no eco system and it still uses a proprietary QR. I do think it's great quality though

      @GregoryShtevensh@GregoryShtevensh21 күн бұрын
    • Exactly. I saw the potential too in the G923 but it is only in the combination with the direct drive that it shines.. Can not wrap my head around it why Thrustmaster did not implement it in their DD.

  • Don't forget the 2nd hand market too Plenty of people selling this stuff after getting into it and realising they aren't into it, or want to upgrade pretty rapidly I was able to get a semi-pro setup for under $2k AU (about $1200 us), just biding my time and picking the right opportunities over the course of a couple of months Was all probably worth closer to $3k AU

    @Pastryarchy@Pastryarchy21 күн бұрын

  • Re: TrueForce / Full Force Has anyone ever tried to mount a bass shaker to their wheelbase to get a similar effect?.. Re: Best Wheel Base 2024 Will you do a video regarding Best Pedal Sets of 2024 as well? As you are aware, pedals are often more important to performance than the wheelbase itself. And there are a plethora of pedal sets available in the budget to “advanced user” range, which can be mixed and matched with different bases depending on the brand and platform.

    @tver@tver22 күн бұрын
    • I think a Bass shaker will be a bit overkill. I happen to have one. I will have a try once there is some time. For pedals, I didnt have anything planned but indeed, they are very important. I did some separate versus video's for the Thrustmaster and Fanatec pedals though.

There is the review of the TGT kzhead.info/sun/hNOIca1sfIOra3A/bejne.html and then the comparison with the TGT2 kzhead.info/sun/Y6enZsOwmIWjm4U/bejne.html . If you want a quick answer, when it comes to performance, the CSL Elite v2 and TGT2 is comparable with the TGT being better in the Gran Turismo series on PlayStation platform.

  • Just buy the most expensive stuff and you'll be happy. I'm just kidding. If you just want to dabble in the sim racing to get your feet wet, just buy a Logitech or Thrustmaster. I wouldn't invest in thier eco-system based products. I would just grab the TMX or equivalent. I would not spend more than $300.00 brand new. I'm saying this from experience. If you're passionate for racing games and want more immersion with them, buy a Moza or Fanatec or the other direct drives that you can afford or save up for. Try to avoid the bundles because the pedals are usually garbage. Now, if you are like me, then just buy the bundle. Buy srp pedals a week later. Then start looking for gas and clutch mods for the srp pedals we just bought. When all the while, the crp pedals have everything we probably need and at this point, more than likely cheaper in the long run as well. Sorry for the lengthy comment, Neo. Great video, buddy. Check your emails! Lol

All have their strong poins and all have their weak points. Aside from It being a very elitist remark, it is totally disrespectful to people that dont have thousands of simolians available to get the "best of the best".
