      @harborwolf22@harborwolf224 жыл бұрын
    • I'm just a 2 year white belt but I feel like that back attack system is pretty standard. I've seen it taught by at least 5 different people. Yes Gordon does it at an elite level but it's not like he did anything there that isn't widely known in the BJJ community. -Get a grip on your opponent's "choking side" hand (the choking side being the side your head is not on because you need your head to help finish the choke) and feed it underneath your choking side leg and trap it there. - Get a body triangle that contains their choking side arm and also helps to hold them in back mount better. -Grab hold of their opposite choking side arm with your choking side and feed it to your non choking side arm. Hold it there. If it escapes, recapture it with the same steps. - They now have nothing but chin tuck (and explosive movement) to defend themselves with. Take as long as you need to get your choking arm underneath their chin tuck. This is probably the portion with the most different methods. (i.e., slip small parts of your hand underneath and wedge deeper as Gordon did, create a fist and push their head all the way to the side where their neck is exposed due to anatomical reasons. -Choke. Of course there are ways that this can be foiled at every step but my point is that none of this is some esoteric knowledge coming out of the blue basement. I'm far more impressed by how he took the back in the first place. That I cannot explain.
