    • He voiced him in teen titans go to the movies. Originally he almost did in Tim Burton’s planned Superman lives movie before it got canceled, but he did appear (de-aged) in a cameo in the flash movie as an Easter egg

    • @@yaro1401 I think the reason he's been putting out more movies lately is cause he is trying to come back into the limelight, it'd work if all the movies but Prisoners of Ghostland weren't painfully bad. It might have worked though, cause he's rumored to reprise his role as Ghostrider. But this movie does look promising.

  • Cage is an actor that has no fear. He doesn't always make great movies but he does always deliver when it comes to acting. Probably one of the greatest actors of this generation, personally i have never seen him turn in a bad performance.

    • Yes. The John Williams book is an absolute masterpiece. As a western novel it's right up there with Cormac McCarthy's "Blood Meridian". It's hard to see how the film will be able to replicate the scale of the buffalo massacre without CGI. That aspect worries me. Willam's follow up novel "Stoner" is an even better book, totally different in tone and style. It's a shame Williams isn't better known.

  • I read the book this year. It’s not very well known. It’s often referenced with the more publicized novel Stoner by the same author, John Williams. The story was contemplative and haunting. I really didn’t picture Nick Cage in that roll but interested to see.

  • OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. i haven't been reading in a very long time. i just can't anymore. but of the handful of books i read in my life, butcher's crossing was one of it. and it's literally one of the best reading experiences i have had. can't wait to watch this. who knows. maybe I can even gather the motivation to read this phenomenal book one more time.

    • @@paulnash9851Yes, the novel is also called “Butcher’s Crossing”, by John Edwards. Fabulous writer. His masterpiece is “Stoner” (the name of the main character not a drug user) and he also wrote a really good historical novel about the Roman Emperor, “Augustus”. Check him out.
