  • She must be amazing if Willie invited her to tour. He's great finding and helping young talent he admires. It's why Billy Strings toured with him so much the last couple of summer's. Can't wait to see you in Atlanta!!! I never miss him when he comes here. For decades it was always Chastain Park. My favorite intimate outdoor venue we have. But I guess it doesn't have enough seats anymore.

  • Thank you Brittney, thank you Dulce. To Brittney for giving my hope to put my creativity in a place where as you rightly put it, going through even if feeling like the underdog, and I say this as an East European Romanian, with whole nation and people played with and by other nations, now by AI generative whatever. I connect with what you said, I want your album, more than music, lessons. Thank you Dulce for being an awesome dulce (dulce's sweet in Romanian.) host making me laugh just as, if not more by Jon, and calling things as they are. AND YES I'LL FOLLOW YOU BOTH NOW, ON IG haha.And to Daily Show big props for bringing people with soul, not script, before a camera. For years. And without making it cringe "woke", but natural and with awesome talented people. Daily, Jon, thanks for ushernig in and giving voice, air time, to people from younger generations, to laugh, look up to, follow and make ugh life a bit more...dulce.

    @CompletelyInadequate@CompletelyInadequate26 күн бұрын
    • To give her the benefit of the doubt, I think that a big part of it might be due to the Taylor Swift 'lore' that was pushed so much when T.S was coming up; For example making a huge deal about how she wrote all of her own songs and lyrics and how heavily this was reiterated every single time and album and single would drop (which I don't entirely understand why this "worked" for creating hype or making Taylor Swift singing revolutionary simply for that particular aspect alone because obviously she's not the first musician, let alone chart topper, not even woman that had done this - not even during that time.) Yet somehow this narrative worked very well both in increasing publicity and audience but also inspiring many other individuals into pursuing music themselves. I really don't know that much about Taylor Swift other than what has been unavoidable in the cultural zeitgeist but I do remember when she first started getting Airplay and the constant "she writes her own stuff!" boggling to me because the ratio of those in decades and decades prior and we're currently doing so greatly outnumbered those who did not, but I watched as the selling point worked. --- Apologies for the length, I just wanted to toss in a bit of recollection based off her age at the time and how she might have picked the artist that she did. A lot of people have forgotten how the marketing was done regarding T.S at that time.
