This was a very impulsive edit I started yesterday and I've been wanting to make this for a long time, but work has kind of taken over my life as I've taken the full time position at my job.
This is just a sappy little edit I made after finding out that I may be able to move to the states this year to live with my fiancé!! Hopefully near the end of the year I'll finally get to move in with my baby 🥲 It all depends on how long the visa processing goes.
I don't know if I even interpreted the song right but I made it personal anyway with a couple different meanings.

This is a really beautiful edit. I hope you will have long time happiness together♡ I always interpreted this song as an anthem to extremely toxic relationship where the woman literally wishes to be dead but can't let go of the relationship due to formed traumatic "Stockholm Syndrome" that often happens when codependent person with serious self-esteem issues will go together with a narcissist. Then victim's manipulated brain starts telling that when your partner is being one day nice towards you that "oh he is my savior, otherwise nobody would want to be with me. But he is tolerating me now!"
I can definitely see that! That's probably what the song actually means in reality. For my edit I wanted to Show a different light I guess. My mother is narcissistic and I live with her along with another family member that I don't want to talk to once I leave. So the negative parts of this edit are supposed to represent that part of my life. That's why the colours went dull to bright once tramp walked in because for me he makes me really happy and helps me escape that reality. The dull moments are also supposed to represent the past, and the happy colourful moments are the present. Thank you by the way ❤
@@rachenna7763 Oh I am truly terribly sorry that you have been surrounded by these kind of environments and people for all of your life ;-; I am lucky that I only had to encounter such type of abusive relationship only in 2018 when I was dating a woman. She was very traumatised herself but she definitely projected her unhealthy mother-daughter relationship towards our relationship. Fortunately our distance between each other helped to finally free myself from that relationship. If we lived in the same place, it would have been way more difficult. I am wishing you all the strength to pull yourself away from environment that pushes you down to brighter one. If you are ever guilted for this for the sake of your health and well-being, don't listen to those voices. You deserve better and should know it!

In any case I want to send my condolences for your unhealthy family situation and I am very sorry for what your mother has said or done to you. >< I am lucky that I only had temporarily an abusive relationship with my ex girlfriend back in 2018. She was very traumatised herself and she did project her mother-daughter trauma dynamics to the way she treated me unconsciously. Still, it was very rough to try to escape the relationship as my mind was constantly "trying to make it work with her" despite the abusive beheavior getting worse and worse by the day. I often ended up taking the blame. I am wishing you all the strength to fight for your situation since you do deserve much better. If anybody will ever guilt you for running away, don't listen to those voices!

Honestly it is very draining, I'm lucky enough that I can hide away in my room & not be bothered much, but it sucks that I can't really leave my room without feeling uncomfortable & stressed. My uncle lives in our living room and we're in a 2 bedroom apartment so it's crowded, and just a few months ago my moms boyfriend moved in as well. My nana (my moms mom) is a narcissist and my mom has carried some traits from her and the abuse but never got any help to deal with her trauma. It took me years to opens my eyes and see just how bad my mom is, I still love her and she always helps me if I need it but she has a lot of negative behaviors that she refuses to recognize and improve on. Everything is about her, nothing is her fault, she gets jealous of everyone and calls them horrible names behind their backs. She ignored me recently for 3 days straight because I went to dinner with her sister who I hadn't seen in years. There's so much and it's draining, when I go to my boyfriends house I feel so much peace & I'm so much happier. I only see him every 6 months or so and it's hard but long distance can work!!! Regarding your situation, I'm happy for you that you got out of that, sometimes we become blinded to the abuse and don't recognize how bad it is. Always remember that your mental & physical health comes first & what happened during your relationship was not your fault. I hope you find someone that treats you fairly and gives you all the love and support you deserve!
