    • Soo, a.i intelligence and knowledge check failure. Natural 1, never knew an a.i born on the pit of information we have stored, having access to it all and still destroy the oil when if it wants to become an entity that can survive even the fall of mankind is by robot use, meaning the need of lubrication rises and as far as I know and my knowledge is limited but isn't oil one of the best to use for such?

    • Nobody is "left behind" that doctrine is not true, search the scriptures, this doctrine was created by Jesuit priests commissioned by the poop, sorry, the pope (same thing) in order to destroy the protestants. There is NO 7 years, have your read the plagues? All would be utterly destroyed if it was that long... like the plagues in Egypt, the last plagues will be pretty fast one after the other, probably weeks or a few months. No where in the Bible says they take place for 7 years.

  • Bit of a reach-back to "Hackers", "Live Free or Die Hard", "Count Zero", with respect to Max Headroom The Original Story (Matt Frewer for the win!)... That said, there's only a few ways to tell this tale. This is a fully satisfying effort. Dialog is right in the zone, acting and direction is solid. The violence is realistic except, as usual, the silenced handguns were too quiet. No regrets on spending the time with this movie.

  • Really good movie. Just a couple of things...does the super intelligent AI not realise that without human beings it will die. Humans make the machines that are part of its neural net, even the process of using its control over computerised machinery to destroy people is also taking out more and more computers. The second thing is that if authorities can get enough people to switch off/unplug enough computers, again the AI loses its coherence. Can't wait to see how it is handled in Part 2. 9/10...excellent.

    • I live a couple of miles from a government site that has some incredible A.I.. I talked to a few guys that where in town to see about working with the A.I. system. I would normally disregard their comments as just bragging until I found out they where from MIT . i run a car service so I was their ride to the airport after their last day. They where really excited and very talkative but they were not apprehensive or worried in the least. Nothing has happened so far...

  • Great fictionalization of what Goog// is doing with Ale// ; they have to tell us.. and put this right in our faces... anyway, great action and actors. Especially with Ex Max Headroom star.

  • The ship at sea scene is comical. For starters, modern merchant seafarers don't wear those old fashioned uniforms except on ceremonial occasions. They wear them on cruise ships because it is part of the fantasy sold to passengers. On other merchant ships it isn't like that. You have 1 officer on watch on the bridge at any one time. The captain comes to the bridge during busy times. This film shows a huge cast on the bridge, modern merchant ships aren't like that. One man bridge operations (O.M.B.O). If a navigation officer and the captain realise navigation aids are not working correctly, there are a host of back ups. One of the first things a Captain will consider doing is slowing the ship down.

  • The strange thing about this movie is that it's pretty close to not being science fiction anymore.

  • For the uniformed - when the good guys stole the low tech Caprice and "turned off their cell phones" so no one could eaves'drop.., just turning off your cell phone doesnt stop your phone from being hacked. If you dont want anyone, anybody, anything to track you or eaves'drop on you, then throw the phones away! Even your old phones that no longer have a current valid contract but you keep charged up for whatever reason can be hacked. The lady reporter's car being hacked is how Princess Diana was murdered: princess di's mercedes was hacked and it had computer assisted steering. Good story so far. When AI does escapes man's control, or when the Brain Chip Interface is made public there wont be any I mean ANY firewalls that cant be bypassed. Just like the T.V. series "Person of Interest" always said.., You have been warned - You are being watched! Edit: I wasnt going to say this but you never know whose mind you can open so here's your red pill moment. Technology is controlled by the dark side and will always use high tech to benefit itself to the detriment of the majority. The battle between good and evil never sleeps. Gives knew meaning to "the image of the beast". Let he who has ears to hear, hear and he who eyes to see, see.
