  • This is pretty accurate and realistic, especially considering that most modern warfare with peer to peer military powers will be carried out with distance ordinance via vehicles or remotely via UAVs.

    • No it's not accurate about modern warfare. The video/game is lack of satellite based weapons and electronic warfare and stuff. And also you can bet that these small helicopters won't show up because of mature anti air systems and fighter aircraft. the video is nothing more than a modernized WWII position seizing game.

    • Yea about that... Checked China's supposed AA arsenal? AMRAAM, mobile AA based on Russian Tunguskha, then they could equip millions of Chinaman with Stingers, IGLA, etc. they could build numerous AA stations when going to Wartime Economy. I wouldn't flash your ace card so valiantly in this exact scenario. China will be ruthless and outnumber you everywhere, but Air, and initially perhaps Navy, true. But they are the Defender, you'll need to make all those Miles inward to achieve anything. Just sending F-35's on a daily basis will not make China surrender obviously. It will be more complicated

  • "In reality" 1. every important inland-target would have been bombed and hit first/already by huge amounts of constant long & short range (cruise-)missile ect.-strikes with instant air-support.. - 2. Devivions-Ground troops just follow along with those air-strikes to secure/capture destroyed or weakened objective-points.. - Main-enemy forces and dangerous strong-points get neutralised from the sky.. - No more long-time, direct big battles- on the field.. - i guess!?, imho

    • @@chris714n83yh1 Chinese and American fighters would eventually shoot the majority of each other's drones down. The real problem would be long range artillery, bombing runs, and close air support with modern targeting systems.

    • @@spikeobama5572 Artillery and such are already part of (second stage) ground troop support.. - after stationary primary enemy defences are mostly out of operation by those constant, missile and air-strikes and specops (stage 0?).. i would guess.. (this video show minor! battles in already weakened enemy territory..) - It would by to dangerous to use tanks and around troops, if the enemy has his long-range support in operation.. The winner may be who has first taken out the opponents (stationary/mobile) long range defence support..

  • I would use small drones to fly ahead and paint the enemy tanks. Other small drones with magnetic feet would land on enemy tanks and detonate shaped charges. 21 st century warfare folks.

  • It's unrealistic... The US army doctrine is to use air power or artillery first before entering the battlefield. Throughout the battle they will use Close air support and combined arms
