A message for our youth, for our world and for the people who raise their voices against humiliation and discrimination, people who fought for peace and people who are still struggling for it. This song has beauty which can't be expressed in few words. This song shows diversity, differences, struggles between us and in this world but most importantly it shows that until and unless you are determined to raise your voice, to take a step against the wrong, you can make a change. I can’t even find the right words for what i want to say now. Shawn, I have supported you for such a long time now, and this video and this song explains why. When the song first came out, I thought it was so beautiful, and it had such a beautiful message. And this video, i don’t even have the words for it. You are one of the few artists who really care, and who use their platform to inspire and help others, and that’s why i support you. Many people have an amazing voice and make nice songs, but you have such a great personality on top of that, which puts you above everyone else. But instead a political narrative was pushed instead by using a tragedy to push political standpoints and policies on an impressionable youth. Shawn Mendes made his message so clear in this video. Instead of using his music videos to portray the “hot and popular” guys and girls he used people who have had self doubt in there physical appearance and religion among other things. I am so glad to see Shawn use his platform to lift people up and show them how loved they are and how needed they are in the society we live in. This video personally spoke to me as I have had physical appearance issues and kids come up to and tell me that I’m not equal to them or I don’t deserve the same treatment as them. Thank you Shawn for lighting us up and using your platform to portray us in a good manner and make us feel wanted and loved. 🧡

I agree with you! I was 16, I really liked this girl but, she lived 45 minutes away. I was wandering around at night, and I stumbled upon a car with key's in it, I quickly hopped in, started the ignition, hit the gas and peeled out of the parking lot. I had weed on me in the car, and a motive that changed my life forever. I had no license, just a thought of being with a girl I really liked. I drove out to her, picked her up, we had a good time, I dropped her off, and parked the car. I fell asleep int he car for a little bit, and woke up too, 3 officers knocking on the car window. I still had weed in the console, and I knew at that point there was know going back. The song Dangerous on my page is what I wrote this about, thank you all stay positive!

But instead a political narrative was pushed instead by using a tragedy to push political standpoints and policies on an impressionable youth. Instead of using his music videos to portray the “hot and popular” guys and girls he used people who have had self doubt in there physical appearance and religion among other things. I am so glad to see Shawn use his platform to lift people up and show them how loved they are and how needed they are in the society we live in. This video personally spoke to me as I have had physical appearance issues and kids come up to and tell me that I’m not equal to them or I don’t deserve the same treatment as them. Thank you Shawn for lighting us up and using your platform to portray us in a good manner and make us feel wanted and loved. 🧡

I agree with you! I was 16, I really liked this girl but, she lived 45 minutes away. I was wandering around at night, and I stumbled upon a car with key's in it, I quickly hopped in, started the ignition, hit the gas and peeled out of the parking lot. I had weed on me in the car, and a motive that changed my life forever. I had no license, just a thought of being with a girl I really liked. I drove out to her, picked her up, we had a good time, I dropped her off, and parked the car. I fell asleep int he car for a little bit, and woke up too, 3 officers knocking on the car window. I still had weed in the console, and I knew at that point there was know going back. The song Dangerous on my page is what I wrote this about, thank you all stay positive!
