Hello, I'm Aurikatariina, and I offer a complimentary deep cleaning service for my followers' homes! ❤️ Today, I had the privilege of cleaning the home of a talented young musician. The spacious rooms were in need of some attention, with debris and clutter scattered about. The bathroom floor, in particular, had accumulated a fascinating layer of dust and dirt, which I thoroughly enjoyed restoring to its pristine state. Moreover, I discovered some captivating instances of mold in the kitchen, including an impressive display of moldy bread. Witnessing the transformation was truly remarkable. I genuinely wish this musician the best in her pursuit of music, as it clearly brings her joy.

  • Honestly Auri, if you were ever up for it, I would enjoy a full uncut cleaning. Like the full 8 hours. For those of us who struggle with tidying and cleaning ourselfes, I think it would be helpful to see every single step in real time. What do you take, where do you put it. What do you do next. Cause for us it can often seem like a mountain and even if I start somewhere, I get demotivated soon. For me a big part of the struggle is how overwhelming it feels. A full real time cleaning, people could even put it on in the background while cleaning themselves. Like literally cleaning alongside you :)

  • I wish Auri's sponsors helped her get a cleaning van so she can carry everything she needs. It may also be helpful to recruit help (maybe volunteers in wherever area the home is) to help with taking out the trashes, recycling the bottles and cans and buy the things you need for the home, like the mattress. I know there would be people willing to help ❤

I don't think people realize how significant it is to have a clean living space, and honestly you can tell when I've been having a rough week because my apartment gets cluttered to hell and back. I'm so glad you do this for people for free, everyone deserves to have a clean home and a clear mind.

This is putting all the weight, pressure and pull on her lower spine as she lifts the heavy furniture up. Our butt and thigh muscles are our strongest muscles for a reason! Bend your legs, not your back, and let your leg muscles do the hard work.

I think that if you're a young age you can and should clean up after yourself! That is absolutely unacceptable!!! I understand when it's an elderly person or someone who is ill, but being young and lazy is no excuse! If she's going to be a nurse then what about her 'not being able to walk'? If her friends knew of her situation I'm sure they would be happy to help her.

  • I’ve fought depression my whole life. Two things that helped me were 1-garbage bins everywhere, lined with a bag. It’s easier to throw away something if there a waste basket right where you are working or eating. 2-set a small schedule. Each day have one goal. Something as small as emptying a specific garbage bin each day helps you to start a routine and you feel small accomplishments. Don’t worry about what’s left, just get done the one thing on your schedule.

    • What you just added is the most important comment I have read. When I see homes like this my first thought is that this person is struggling with just putting one foot in front of the other. And cleaning their home is way down the list. I like your idea of trash cans lined and located around the home ❤️

      @staceyfranks01@staceyfranks016 ай бұрын
    • the trash cans thing is SO real! I needed to stop thinking 'that's just proof I'm giving up' a long time ago. once I set a trash can next to my two most common sitting areas, suddenly I'm keeping up with tidying my space regularly -- because you can SEE the rest of the things out of place, when there's no trash. there is no shame in accepting the limitation -- if you know you're never gonna convince Future You to get up and throw things away, and accepting it with some extra garbage bins leads to you having a cleaner space, time to get to acceptin!

  • I'm really impressed with her ability to recognize what is good and worth keeping- fruits/veggies, food, furniture, clothes, etc. and distinguish it from all the garbage. It is much more interesting to see the place clean with the original pieces still in the room than if the whole house was tossed. We're trying to clean/sort stuff from a move right now, and that's the most difficult part for us- trying to tell what to get rid of. I know some things are obviously garbage but not everything. Plus, it seems like it would be more difficult to tell if it's not your stuff. I wonder if they go through and remove personal items they wouldn't want thrown away beforehand? It seems like they just walk out and let her do her thing.

Ive been places that were so messy similar to these videos and it was literally just starting. In a week with help we got the house cleared out and was able to clean. Once we get into the action, improvement starts almost immediately. Celebrate the small stuff like completeing one area that looks so clean. Then move on to the next. Focus one thing at a time. Nit the entire project and you will get through it and feel so appreciative by the time you finish

  • Fun fact: if you have a toilet bowl that needs cleaning like this, you can also leave the vinegar/acid based product during the day if you have an 8-hour workday! It'll get rid of a lot of calcium build up in that time, and if it doesn't all get removed in one day, you can try again the next working day!

  • If this was me, I'd ugly cry. You are an angel. Good luck, Stella! I'm also a nurse, though I want to be an artist, so I relate to her. Depression/chronic health problems are a struggle, and it makes it so hard to do chores. I find it's best to focus on one thing at a time, so instead of "I need to clean my entire room/house", just pick something smaller like the top of your desk, or the dishes, or one load of laundry, and do that one thing. And if that's all you manage to do that day, be proud of what you accomplished, even if all you managed was to shower and eat that day (self care is important too!). And don't forget to be brave and ask for help when you need it! For some people (like me), having someone there to help you clean or even just keep you company while you clean can be very helpful for productivity! Also music! Something I recently learned that's helpful: If you hate yourself, take a shower. If you hate everyone, eat. If you think everyone hates you, sleep. :)

  • Auri, you are an earth angel. You are doing great work for people who need it. The sad thing is most people have trouble keeping their home clean due to mental health issues or limited mobility, and as the house gets dirtier, it’s becomes so overwhelming that the person loses hope with cleaning it. In the US, a very dirty home is grounds for eviction either from local government authorities due to the health hazard to others, or from landlords who don’t want damage to their property from mold, mildew, and pest infestations.

  • After Aurikatariina has finished cleaning a lot of these apartments I'm struck by how austere they are. More often than not there are bare walls, without posters and pictures or other decorations that express the occupant's personality. I think it must be a symptom of the depression and illness that many of Aurikatariina's clients struggle with.

    • Very precise observation, I agree with you. I also like to note/imagine which habits maybe they could maintain and enjoy sometimes in those landscapes. In this video we can see that there's some space in the keyboards, and no garbage on top of it. The freezer says much too. The struggle, the humanity. In another of Auri's video we could see a house that was filthy but not disorganized (The name of the video is grimy granpa i guess). Even in the hardest fimes we can find and mantain those habits that , for me, are beams of hope. It's what keep us all alive despite all the sadness, grief, shame and another hard feelings. Therapy is a way to find our 'mental homes', and not always they will be completely neat and completely clean. The metafor "clean house clean mind" is didatic but sometimes the interpretation of it can be kinda simplistic.
