The editing just seems like extra effort for an tutorial, and I love it.
Pro tip on the beg quest. You don't need to break more than one alter. After meeting beg, you just need to be cursed by the next alter to get the true crown
You can get cursed any way,doesn't need to be an altar
Climbing gloves are the most valuable thing that I always go for whenever they are available. AMA.
really like the presentation in these videos and like watching them even if im familiar with the subject matter! couple notes though: you misspoke and said a shopkeeper is worth 8 favor at the start, but you do correctly show them being worth 6 later on. secondly i think it's worth mentioning that kali will only reward you with an eggplant upon sacrificing a gift if you currently have positive favor. keep up the videos :)

Despite me already knowing all of these I love to see you upload again and it was really entertaining
two things you missed : reaching a favor total of a multiple of 8 ( and at least 16 ) will heal your curse / poison if you're afflicted in order to get the true crown , you don't actually need to follow through with destroying more altars , just get cursed and beg will appear again at the next one ( this is incredibly easy to do in temple which is where you'll use the true crown to blow up the city of gold anyway )

nah best use of the clone gun for singleplayer is to clone the playerbag you get from the sun challenge and max out your resources, in multiplayer the best use would probably be to give everyone a kapala

The permanent darkness and immediate ghost actually depends on the ball and chain in future levels. Destroy the ball and chain, and the punishment will no longer follow you in future levels.
Also, Beg's questline only requires that you curse yourself after first visiting him. Then he gives you the true crown. Destroying 3 altars just seems like the easiest way to intentionally do so.

Is there a name for doing a run where you break 3+ altars and get through the game in permanent darkness, instant ghost spawn, etc? I'm sure at least some Spelunky players are masochistic enough to do that lmao

13:15 your visual is misleading, the equation should just be: 6(Tusk gaurds) x 3(favor for each dead Tusk guard) = 18(total Kali favour) First off, you wrote 😎 x 6 x 2 = 18. What does 😎 mean, why is 😎 there? We already know you're talking about Tusk guards because of the context, and you already have 6 😎 on the bottom of the screen, take 😎 out of the equation, 😎 is not multiplying with anything. Secondly the favour per dead guard is supposed to be 3. I find it funny how instead of just typing the wrong number, you dressed it up to be the same green sticker as the other favour numbers in the video, but still got it wrong. P.s. Even though I sound so bitchy in this comment, I was just bored and wanted to poke fun at this little nitpick. It's a good video overall, and I hope to see more content like this.
