Did I see buttons on the dashboard. It looks really nice, practical and similar to the BMW i3.
The first generation 500e shared a lot of internals with the BMW i3
I just ordered La Prima 3+1. Ice White Coming end of June 🚙
Great video, yet again. thanks
Not for that price or insanely quoted lease prices it isn't. And I say this as someone who's owned both a 500 Pop and Abarth.
Cool design and I appreciate their transparency about the use cases. But that price, woof!
Should be $25k
I've always loved the "Cinquecento".This was a great, succinct review. Do you know if it is coming to Canada?
Yes
Love your video, you make it really easy to understand EV's. Question: you seldom talk about Tesla's, is there a reason you focus on non-Tesla manufactures? Thanks again.
Hi Ev Pulse, I don't understand your reply to my question. Could you elaborate?
Thank you for watching and for your kind words! Much appreciated. Tesla is hugely important, and we do occasionally cover them, but I would say other automakers are doing more interesting stuff these days. Tesla has stagnated a bit in the EV space, but you can bet we'll be covering any and all new products the company announces. Thanks! - Craig
It’s very cool, though I agree with many other who say the price is a bit too steep for it.
I love it.
Fiat has been very tight-lipped about any convertible or Abarth versions coming to the States, but they would be a welcome addition. Convertible EV's are nearly non-existent here and this nimble runabout is perfect for some top down fun. Add the spicy Abarth to the picture and Fiat has a truly unique EV on its hands. 🙂
Very nice and cute car. The only downside to me is that it is a 2 door vehicle and dont like that at all. Too cramped for size, claustrophobic. However, great video and detailed explanation. Much respect.
I just ordered La Prima 3+1 which makes the back easy to access.
@@italy_jaz Oh! Okay. cool.
Adorable!!!
Food for thought in the interest of "keeping it real". Heat Pumps in EVs are more efficient. Rivians and Fords do not have heat pumps. When Rivian and Fords adopt heat pumps, our beloved large frunks will be greatly reduced (a trade-off that WILL happen). Brands/vehicles with heat pumps are: Nissan, Chevy (GM), Toyota Prius HEV (that surprised me), BMW, Audi, Tesla, Porsche (part of VW Group), Skoda (VW group), Hyundai Group (including R1S' direct competition the EV9), and Jaguar (Tata Motors).
FIAT - Fix It Again Tony
A Chevy bolt seems better in every way
cost A$55000+ in Australia.....no thank you
35000.00 for half a car.
Correction: The 2021 Fiat 500e Might Be the ULTIMATE City EV
It might be
If you put the specs of the last generation 500e against this new generation, the new one is somehow worse... yikes! A decade of negative progress.
Give me a TESLA MODEL Y. The Tesla Model Y is the ULTIMATE City EV and the Quintessential EV. If I need to go smaller or cheaper: MODEL 3. If Tesla does go cheaper and build a "Model 2" after all, FIAT can absolutely forget it.
Rumor mill suggests the 2 is dead.
@@ALMX5DPElon said nothing was canceled yet they're still putting it out next year
Never actually driven in a city and tried to park a midsize suv, huh? Tesla doesn't make a city car. I'm sure this comment will pump the stock back over 400 bro.
These introduction models are always more expensive. The normally priced ones come later.
