In this video I am getting the Tiger 1 ready for a visit to the Armortek Factory. The parts featured are mostly metal and have been made by me. It has been a long time since I drove this tank so doing some tidy up work and testing motors, batteries and sound.
In the next video I will be adding many more components so make sure to subscribe to the channel. #armortek #tank #giant #modeltank #militarymuseum #tiger1 #1/6scale
Fantastic job you have I'm really impressed 👏 👍👍👍
Thank you, I have another video going up tomorrow. Lots more added to Tiger 212.
@@16rctankworkshop-yv8kl I'm really looking forward to see your video on your magnificent Tiger 212
Great video and love all of your detail work and craftsmanship. Keep the videos coming, John!
Thanks for the nice comment. More coming soon.
Beautifully detailed RC tanks , very enjoyable channel to watch 👍
Thank you very much!
Beautiful. I wish I could come one day too with my model, but I think I wouldn't be welcome 😆🤣🤣
1/4 scale. Great. Will have to look at that.
I have just binge watched the whole series and am I awe with your attention to detail. Thanks and may see you at the Armourtec open day.
Thanks for watching. See you at the open day.
My wife told me I needed to change the smoke alarm battery, she didn’t know it was coming from one of your vid’s 😂 By the way, I just bought an unbuilt 2021 Armortek Tiger I late. I’m very excited to finally have the chance to get my hands on one.
Smoke alarm fixed in later videos. Did tiger come with motion packs? Good luck with it. Great kit.
No electronics, that will be a long way off.
@@fshoutowtr I ordered electronics recently. Motion and sound. I will be installing soon on channel comparing old system with new brushless.
I just subscribed!
Thank you👍
Your attention to detail, and workmanship is stunning… the little bail fastners impressed me! The sound system very realistic.
Absolutely nice work! Very realistic. But I have a suggestion for improvement: The color of the numbers of Tiger I 212 from the sPzAbt 101 was only white. There is much to suggest that the tank from M. Wittmann at Villers-Bocage was Tiger 231. With red numbers and white framing on the turret and a black number with white framing on the Rommel-Box.
Thanks for the comment. Most of the images I have seen of 212 are red with white outline. I am assigning this tank to Bobby Will from now on. I believe it was his until he was injured. I am afraid I sometimes go along with a paint scheme or detail for aesthetic reasons rather than historic accuracy. It can be hard to reconstruct colour schemes from poor black and white photos.
@@16rctankworkshop-yv8kl Are you talking about Bobby Woll, Wittmann's former gunner?
@@TheSaturnV yes, I believe 212 was his tiger. Wittmann used it while his vehicle was out of action.
