    • Well.... that was a blunder :(( The W203 is a decent car, save for some electronic gremlins usually related to the ABS/ESP issues, but the W140 is really on a different level. Maybe you could still sell the W203, and get the W140?

      @KyleLiongCars@KyleLiongCars3 жыл бұрын
    • @Kyle Liong Car Reviews, I’ve thought about it seeing as I could sell the W203 for about 4k, but I’m kinda wanting a sporty car with a manual rather than a highway machine. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love the W140, but where I live, a smaller sporty car would be more enjoyable to drive.

  • I like how people say the 320 is a to light engine for the W140, which it's clearly not.

    @AVC-Works@AVC-Works3 жыл бұрын
    • I think it really depends on where you're from. If you're from Asia, like me, or Europe, the 320 is more than enough for our roads, but if you're from North America, I would have to agree that the 320 is a little too underpowered, given the amount of power you would need to safely merge onto the freeway.

      @KyleLiongCars@KyleLiongCars3 жыл бұрын
    • I drive a S320 with only a few options in Germany and it's more than enough power. I think the S320 is the perfect engine for this car, because it's strong enough, easy and quite cheap to repair and doesn't consume that much. But only, if you don't have the ADS dampers and all that other options that tend to go defect over time. Mine has a standard chassis and be repaired very cheaply. The V8s and V12s are much more expensive in maintenance and the engines are more liekly to break down. I had a CL600 C140 before and still have a 600 SEL. They are great cars too, but the S320 is the best overall in my opinion.

      @BastianKH@BastianKH3 жыл бұрын
    • I agree with you. The S320 is the best way to get into W140s without any of the complicated madness to ruin your pride of ownership hehe! Not to say the bigger engine ones aren’t a joy to drive, they sure are, but deep pockets are a must.

      @KyleLiongCars@KyleLiongCars3 жыл бұрын
    • tbh, it is. maybe not in speedlimit countries or with mostly traffic jam but here on our Autobahn the little R6 has a bit struggle with the heavy car. not slow but to be confident on the road it needs at least a 400/420

    • Hmmmm that's pretty odd for an S600. I don't think I've ever come across an S600 without the rear reclining seats as standard. Is your S600 an SWB or LWB? The SWB S600 is EXTREMELY rare, but I think they do exist. If it's an SWB, might explain the lack of standard rear reclining seats.
