Also following you on IG now you have a new subscriber on both accounts forever lol. And also, your tips are very helpful for whoever looking to move to Europe very good detailed tips. I too had started this journey and I live in NYC and did my post-graduate degree in London. But the Prime Minister at the time D.Cameron had to change the post-study visa where students stay and work by removing it and that was the main purpose of my studying there because I wanted to move there. I tried again in 2016 by going and doing interviews for jobs I was applying to in NYC. But long story short it did not work out for me and I return to New York it was major difficult to get a job to sponsor me to work since a lot of changes was made in the UK during that time. And of course, now they bring back the Post-Study visa in 2020. But not to feel defeated I am happy that I can still get to visit Europe and family in the UK and my Aunt in France whenever I want by not overstaying my time and spoiling my passport. But Europe is beautiful and I will not trade my first time living and studying there in London by myself girl, although I have a large family there I was by myself in London first time moving away from home. Now am studying Nursing to pursue a Nurse Practioner and possibly a Doctor of Nurse Practioner. So I look at it as everything happens for a reason and what's meant for me will not pass me by. ❤

    @pmonpl@pmonpl4 жыл бұрын
    • Hi, I do not want to give any false information. I can only provide info on how I managed to move abroad so I am honestly not sure about the mental health field. What I know for sure though is that the German government is going to check first if a German can do that job before any foreigner.

    • In Germany for that kind of job your knowledge of German should be very good. Either B2 or C1 is required because most of your job will be communicating with other people. Just about all the successful immigrants that you find on KZhead speak German fluently, even if they do not mention it. As a German employer I would expect you to interact with my local customers and your colleagues in the local language.

    • Theresa Amouzou I stopped the video at 8:17 while she was talking about the bank before she started talking about finding apart. There’s so much Sister is not telling you. The MOST important thing you should do when considering leaving the US is to learn the language where you want to live!! I haven’t seen any of the other videos but if that wasn’t the first thing she advised you all, then this is a disservice, because without the language you will always have to either work for the Military, in an American based Company, or be an English teacher. Also one of the best things to happen, without the language skills, is if you are good on the eyes. German men LOVE, WORSHIP, and FANTASIZE about Black women!! I knew before she said it that she had very little problem finding an apt. because she’s a Black FEMALE!! If she was a Brother, all that changes. Now you become a threat. Either there’s hidden jealousy, call it penis envy, or they’re a Skin, Nazi, lost a girlfriend or know someone who had a friend/ sister that had a relationship with a Brother or flat out prejudice. And if you don’t learn the language before you get to your NEW life, you will have to either find and associate with those that speak your language and therefore you will be living half of your life. The other thing is how are you going to communicate in everyday life? You have to hope they speak American, or you use smoke signals, point, or somehow try to convey your intentions. I am not knocking Sis, I am just telling you what I know after 35 years in Germany. Also, it’s very seldom that a Black women has a Black man. Back in 85, before I got here , I was taught a little German from my Moms work Colleague, Anna Schmitt. She told me, your going to Love Germany, because German woman Love Black men. And she was right. All I am saying is don’t get this adventurous feeling, save your chips, jump on a plane, and be miserable your whole time wherever. Do your research, save your money, and first of all LEARN THE LANGUAGE. It makes living there more enjoyable, both Culturally, Socially, and Financially. But one disclaimer is, if you don’t have IT, you can’t Speak IT, you can’t Afford IT, and you don’t look like IT, you will be struggling like 95% of the foreigners that come here. I haven’t seen this video to the end yet, but I’ll bet the Sister has a White/ German man, and I’ll bet he’s either self employed or somewhere in Administration in the Company where she works? Tell me what you think. Oh and I don’t know where you live, but in Nürnberg, Southern Germany, people are so used to seeing Blacks, there were 5 Instillations in this area, that if someone stares at me I know they come from somewhere else. Although most of the Americans are gone from the area, when a German sees a Black person they assume he’s from Africa because they try to PASS as Americans so that they’ll be better excepted. But after a few questions, if it comes to that, or a few eye contacts, they see the difference and the theme is squashed. So you do you, but there’s more to being successful in a foreign country then being ambitious and wanting to see the world. And NO I don’t have a White/ German woman. I’ve lived proudly in my own apt, without FWB, for almost 22 years, and I can’t be bought. Next year I retire and life is Wunderschöne. Ciao‘. PS. I was trying to figure out was City she lives in with so little Blacks and now I know. Stuttgart. The stuck up Porsche owner. Chicy Mickey. Ok I understand things a little better.

    • @@brianhardaway9716 a lot of interesting information. And yes, I did expect her to say to learn the language first! I think Nelson Mandela once said that when you learn a man's language, you speak to his heart... I have never been to Germany but from a friend who has, she said that where she stayed (can't recall), once the local people realised she knew know German, she was basically ignored.

  • Yeah, English language teaching. I do it too and I love the job. But I have maybe 20 years of pension contributions as a permanent employee ("Angestellte"), so I won't be living in poverty on retirement (which is a thing here). So I just want to underscore Zoie-Marie's point. It's a good entry job for any country, but you're self-employed. Health insurance and pension contribution comes 100% out of your income. If you just want to do it for a few years and then go home, no problem. But if you want to stay here, you either need to transition out of it or find a way to maximise your income to pay for these things. Somehow.

  • Hi I enjoyed your video. I like the fact that you are not economical with the truth. I moved last year from Poland to Germany, though I am a Nigerian national married to a Polish. I am having a problem finding a Job because I can't speak German. My husband speaks some German so it was easier for him. My city is close to dusseldorf. Please I would really appreciate it if you can help me or connect me to someone who can give me a job... I am trying my best to learn the German language. I am still at the beginning level but I speak very good English. I have applied for so many jobs but they keep telling me you need to speak German to get the job. I will be very very happy and grateful if you can help me with a job or give me the connection. Thank you
