  • The thing about us, fans, and looking up to someone like Sapnap, is more than just watching him play a game. Its the interactions with his friends, the community that surrounds you and you all look up to him. There is reasons we call the majority of streamers from the Dsmp, "comfort streamers." Comfort streamers bring us a sense of security and easiness. They pave the way for us. Seeing that notification that your comfort streamer went live after having a bad day, just makes you feel so much better because they make you laugh, smile, and maybe sometimes scream. But you may not even realize, that they take whatever bad has happened away until they hit that "end live" button. Its almost like you go to an alternate universe. These people bring comfort to us. 9 times out of 10, when we see a streamer irl and we're freaking out, its not because we're crazy, its because they bring you so much happiness thats its hard to contain. We understand that they are people just like us, but when you feel so much joy, its hard to sit still and keep your cool. And i feel like thats how it is with fans in other communities as well. Can anyone relate to me on this?

    • @@lolac4740 omg hi! Your reply really made my day :) I’m doing good, hope you are as well! MCYT has always been a source of fun for me and the Dream SMP seems like a natural progression from the Cube days. Cool to see you’re still here as well. Go Minecraft!

  • This series is always so much fun to watch, learning more about our favorite creators and hearing stories they haven't shared, but - I wonder if one day, Anthony will do an episode with Ian. I think that could be a good episode, even if they're just reminiscing old Smosh. Would definitely love to hear some stories.

  • The way their conversations flow throughout this interview is actually so calming for some reason. No need to really move on to a different subject, the conversation naturally flowed to the subjects itself, AND THE COMMUNICATIONNNN. Love Sapnap man, great guy.

  • I've never related more with anyone or anything when they were discussing grades. I'm also from Greece, and both parents are from Greece (and Albania), so they are STRICT about grades, I got flashbacks just hearing him repeat the exact words I would hear every day. No B's ever in a Greek household.

  • When Sapnap said that we as a community love their friendship and that’s why we stay, i think, as someone who is in that community, that it’s a part of it but not all of it. I Sapnap more than I watch any of them and even I can’t tell you why I watch him so much. Maybe it’s the way, he’s just a loving person, and his growth with confidence while being a content creator. I know I look up to him for that reason. And while being that energetic and bubbly person, he still is that loving an such a polite person. When he said that he doesn’t deserve it, he deserves so much more and I’m glad that he knows how much we appreciate him 🫶🏼

  • He's such a sweet guy, really chill. I'm still warming up to all the people in the DSMP and it's taking a lot, but he's definitely shot up in my non-existent priority list of streamers I wanna hop on stream... I had an impression he would have been more hyped and/or loud? He probably gets to be sometimes XD Super nice interview! It really felt more like a chat than an interview, I hope you were both comfortable and had a wonderful time!
