  • The other cats that live together with chicks, usually, cant resist but play occasionally with them in a not exactly delicate way. This is the first cat I see that is totally respectful to the chicks, beautiful and harmonious sight..

    • Teenie: Average cat is 2 to 3 degrees COOLER than the chicken. I just Googled their respective temperatures. Of course, I understand individual variations from the average.

    • Seems to me the one chick that stayed with mama hen was doing it to keep her company....so she would have at least one chick to stay with her while the other babies stayed with the cat. It was more out of loyalty than anything. But then I might be just projecting my human self onto everything.

  • Such a cute video. The cat is their second mother. I remember when I was a teenager, my grandmother had little chickens in her kitchen in a box: I used to cuddle them: it's amazing how they got used to me. When they got bigger they became me pets, followed me all over the backyard, showed excitement when I fed them.

  • This is beyond adorable. I can't believe it, the mom cat is cleaning the chicks who seem to want to cuddle up to her. The chick's mom seems to be fine with it, she knows the mom cat is not going to hurt them. They all fall asleep together.

    • Se você como ser humano se considera menos inteligente que os animais irracionais muito bem, mas quanto aos outros seres humanos não lhe cabe a si julgar!! Nunca vi um animal irracional construir uma casa, ou uma nave espacial para ir á lua.
