In this video I install several kitchen wall units from the Symphony kitchens matt concrete, linear range. Two 300mm wall units, a 900mm wall unit and two 600mm bi-fold wall units were installed in this kitchen. Here are some links to other videos that should help-

The only KZhead channel I have notifications set for, because of the spooky knack you have for choosing the topics I'm currently wrestling with. Thank you again!
That’s great to hear, thanks 👍
On stud walls, professional builders put extra noggings, or osb/ply panel for wall units (and radiators) - cowboys don't. Great series of videos. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment 👍
Yep! Then the customer decides that they want the heavy, wall hung rad/wall unit... woteva, hanging somewhere else, but only after the wall is boarded, plastered and painted.🙄
Maybe someone is hanging cabinets in an old house built before built in cabinets were popular? Do you know what a cowboy is and what they know to do? Sometimes the so-called amateur builds sturdier than a so-called professional. It depends on whether you do your homework before you do a job.
Fair play showing the drop. Hope the supervisor went lightly on you! 😅
😂
Great tips and advice. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend everyone. Hope no one is fitting a kitchen this week😉👍👍
Thanks, I hope you have a great weekend too 👍
I'm having a great week-end. The missus and the lad have gone to Turkey for a short break. Oh, I will miss him.
@loafersheffield Mine are all away too- bliss 😂
Some of us have grafting 🥵🥵
I put a level batten underneath the units with a couple of screws before putting on the wall gives you a bit of added support and security when installing the bloomin things as they can't slip so easily
👍
Good advice
Thanks for the comment 👍
👍👍👍Thank you.
You are welcome Thanks for the comment 👍
Hello sir I seen one of your videos were you made a grill gide to remove broken bolts how much to make them for me please let me know thank you Bradley carver.
I had a double cabinet fall - At about 12.30am which was about 6 hours after I'd hung it and filled it. Luckily there was only a few inexpensive breakages but the inexpensive cabinet was damaged.
It happened to a mate of mine once, it had been on the wall for years, then just fell to the floor one day 😂 He ended up buying a completely new kitchen 😱
I am not a kitchen fitter and have only fitted two kitchens ever but i just nailed a batten to the wall and lined them all up on that and it went fine, what advantage does this hardware bring? The missus wants a new row of wall cabs so would be good to know. Thanks
I’ve done that a few times also. It depends what hardware is supplied with the wall units that you buy. With this kitchen, these were the supplied cabinet hangers, I have used similar ones in the past. I guess it depends which wall units you buy! I remember fitting a kitchen when I was a teenager and the units had a solid batten running along the back inside, at the top of the unit. Like you, I just installed a batten below the units, lifted them onto the batten, then popped a few holes through the batten in the unit and fixed it to the wall using wall plugs and screws 👍
Oh yeah!
👍
can ypu do one for tiling bathroom, floor and walls?
I've done several videos on tiling over the years, you should find them here- kzhead.info?search_query=ultimate+handyman+tiling Thanks for the comment 👍
How would you hang a kitchen where its metal stud with plaserboard on top
I’m not sure about that, sorry. I’ve never come across a stud partition wall that has been built using metal components, although I believe they are common in apartments (perhaps something to do with fire regulations).
8:05 I could just hear you say s**t lol
😂😂
Very nice unit but a nightmare to align
👍

@08.10 "Supervisor"? 😂 In Loafer's house, the "supervisor" is called Oberstleutnant, Big Mother or She (who must be obeyed).
