Based on the book 'Dying To Live', this film is the inspiring true story of Dr. Shonda Reynolds. A native of Pulaski, Tennessee, she overcame addiction after entering drug rehab, where she had a spiritual awakening and accepted her calling to preach. This true to life film is about a life being transformed by the power of God through forgiveness, redemption and love from a life of addiction.

It's a shame her own family gave her drugs and even told her it was laced it will be your own family that why back in the day I wouldn't smoke weed with my own family because I had family who wanted me mess up this is my first time Watching it is a good movie I had a cousin give me a cigarette at 6 and family let me drink as teen I thank God I never did drugs ir a generational curse in my family Iam glad this lady got saved and clean

This movie wasn’t nothing short of blessing …..what I can say is I prayed in the morning about repentance maybe 20 mins after my mother calls me and says ok….time for morning prayer which was kind of unusual …..once of the messages was god will reveal something to you to let u know he is with you all of the time ….so after we were done and got off the phone I was actually looking for so worship music then stumbled upon this movie….I believe that this for me was one of the most influential movies Ive seen in my life ….only god know ……Great Content from the producers down to the cast and every soul that was part of making this movie…. 🙏

Amazing Spirit-filled movie. The young lady did an amazing job on her role. Shows how God is working and those who will come to him he covers no matter how low. To see her walk in her calling and live with purpose was inspiring. In my fast this is all God has been showing over and over. He used this movie to speak to me like the letter she received. I have never consumed any drugs but I feel I’ve been under the addiction of Overthinking and I’ve let depression get the best of me because things didn’t go the way I wanted them to go. I simply woke up today, Glory be to God. I told myself this morning, instead of being mad at things didn’t go that way! Instead! Give Thanks! Because God has the final say and it all comes together in his timing! Once I saw Wes Morgan, my whole attitude just shifted! I truly felt like the words he was speaking. Was to be as well! God is so great the girl when through trails and tribulations but she got the help and turned to god and he favoured her she prayed read the bible and asked God for forgiveness and now she helping inmates by changing her life around bless you and your sons your friend was no good your sister left you but u still had your brother support no matter what 🎉🎉

This movie just Blessed my soul. What a mighty testimony to let us know that it's not about where we are now it's all about the plans that God has for us Jeremiah 29:11. Many may wonder how could this person be addicted to alcohol, drugs etc as in the movie she mentioned free will but the Beautiful thing is knowing that we have a loving Father ABBA in heaven who forgives us and place His spirit upon us to make the change and turn way from the things that are toxic in our lives. Women in these situation need to know when to let go. Even when the abusive husband gave her a way out through divorce, she still wanted to hang on to the abusive treatment. Each time he snapped his finger after he abused her she ran right back. When we change we have to let go the people who represent our past life.

This was really a Christian movie a great movie. Forgiveness is really for us more than it's for the other person. To let go of hate and unforgiveness in our heart. I think if she would have shown a little bit more love and respect to her husband she would have won him over. 1Petet 3:1. That's what's so amazing about God he still has a calling on our lives even though we come from drugs alcohol prostitution background. Because only God can change us. I was a homeless person with my then 5 year old son - today I serve the Lord as a Pastor and my son Elijah is now a full grown man - in search of God for himself. I'm watching this movie with the hope that it'll give me a reason to give up on Life. Everything is not going well with me and I wonder why. Praise God!!!!! This movie is so awesome and touched my very soul. I love the Lord and am so thankful that is always there by my side no matter what the problem. Everyone DOESN'T know their purpose on earth because if they did,rampant killing rape murder etc wouldn't be as it is..That's not God's purpose and it shouldn't be anyone else's...

Clean and sober for 10 years. I'm grateful for her recovery. I wanted to love this story, but when we got to the part of her preaching in the church, that is when the Word was neglected. The Lord calls his disciples to speak truth in love. Refer to Timothy. This is emotionalism that many of us in recovery fall victim of.... because it is still self driven. "A calling" does not negate the Word. Xoxo praying she comes out of these false teachings.
