  • Alistair saves the show. He's a genuine pleasure to watch, how he interacts with the guests, even complicated ones.

  • It never ceases to amaze me that there are so many stunning properties on offer in the UK. A small country with so much to offer! Can't wait to visit Shropshire for the first time this coming summer.

  • Love the couple- as set as she was on what she liked, she was also open to change! And Alistair is delightful.

  • This woman going on "my son", "my children"... it's never about them as a couple, it's only about her. Dreadful self-centred behaviour.

    • No one has ever said that about a man. Why is there a problem that a woman says the very same things that are expected of a man? Gross.

    • I agree! My ex-husband always did that and I think it's very rude, except when you're a single parent.

  • I'm from Colombia which is fairy similar to Brazil, I've been to Brazil as well, and we have extremely similar architecture; so when she mentioned what she expected from a house, I understood what she meant because I felt the same way coming to the UK the first time; however, I've learned to love the difference and now I really like the quirkiness and different rooms of England houses, it's very charming and cozy and it works perfectly for the weather. I especially like the architecture of Scotland.

  • Wow, this couple... had a lot of I and me and my and she didn't have a wish but a demand list. This was somewhat painful to watch and I mostly did for Alistair.

  • Liked house 1 - not what they wanted though. Liked 2, didn't love it. Mystery - crazy lol I did like it though. I think their best bet would be a full on barn conversion or new build. These really old houses are most often NOT open plan downstairs.

  • When they are only showing people 3 houses, you would think they'd get the match better! Children 9 and 11 are not going to work out in a a house where 2 bedrooms are up one stairway and 2 are up another. They need a house where all the bedroom are off the same hallway!

  • I can see why none of these houses work. Their budget was $400,000. not $600,000. unless something very special. They weren't looking for BIG. They were looking for an open plan. Singles should not count in the number of bedrooms because no child wants to be stuck in the small bedroom. The last was way too many floors. Who would want to clean all that?
