@@reka6849 there can be parts of the mold within the item/thing that has produced mold. We can't see it, and therefore makes food that had mold on it but got scraped off, dangerous to eat, because some molds can actually kill.

I know that’s what I said in my head. I’m glad that y’all didn’t eat it because mold had roots which still could be bad, there roots can go down to like 5 ft. So it’s good to just throw your food away if u see mold on it
I love this video, but I have a little precaution if mold like this happens to you. DO NOT just scrape off thr layer, because the spores can transfer and you will not see them deeper in. Your best bet (sadly) is to discard the whole thing.

You are right, but the mold didnt have enough time to root, so it wasnt that bad.
Given the amount of time, the mould wouldn't have rooted very deep into the jello itself, and I doubt it would have produced enough spores to cause any harm. Mould spores are everywhere, after all.

A mold isn’t a mushroom it’s a fungus, like a mushroom is a fungus
I think you meant that mold spores penetrate throughout the whole cup of jello thus, making the entirety of the jello toxic/unsafe to consume. Assuming you know which strain of mold is in the jello it would be safe or very dangerous to eat. Without proper lab equipment you cannot identify which strain of mold is the one inhabiting the jello. The bottom line is just...don’t eat it
