If you have any tips or questions about the copart auction process feel free to let me know 👍👍👍
Do you like to drive the price up fast or slow?!?!
can you bid on behalf of a person
@@djkayslied5592I'm not sure, I'd call copart
Excited to see the new builds!!!
Oh we got mad builds in the pipeline
Liked & subscribed keep the copart content coming
Thanks, I just finished the copart series and am just about to start the copart build but I am going to drop random copart videos as they come up. 👍👍
This is intense and fun to watch😁
Great to hear
Thanks so much for this info.
Glad I could help, thanks
Lovely video and very well explained! I do have a question: If I don’t hit the reserve there is no car, correct?
Sometimes if you don't hit the reserve copart may contact you if the buyer decides to sell below the list price.
Thanks for explaining this to me, my brother ; )
Hey bud should I do the live auction fitting or should I bid while it's still 6 days left or how do I know if it's going to be a live auction
I would wait until the actual auction otherwise your just driving the price higher before the actually live bidding begins typically driving the end price higher
This may be a dumb questions but plz answer if possible Under lanes where it says rental cars are they cars that rental agency auction off because of high mileage
Good question. Rental cars are a fairly recent addition, but from what I understand it could be due to, any number of circumstances such as milage damage, theft. I would just check under primary damage to see what information is provided.
Do u have to put some kinda advance money up or just bid if u win u pay then
You have to put a deposit in your Copart account, last time I checked I think it was 10%
My question is I can legit bud $50 bucks and that be the final bud on any given vehicle as is and all sales are finale/pure sale and besides bud fees gate fees and etc I can really walk out the door with a “$50” vehicle cause I’ve seen a few crazy bids and I’m just skeptical
Yup thats true
Craaaaaaazy 🤯
Thanks for the details. I am trying to buy a car on auction for Turo. I did a filter. Searching only clean titles and saw a nice car but on the details it says Title Code: TN - CERT OF TITLE-REBUILT VEHICLE What does this mean. If I buy and register, will it be a clean title
Rebuilt title is not a clean title. Rebuilt means it was once a salvage title but the car has been repaired to a certain extent.
@@aidenhater3298thanks. so what is the difference between title and title code?
Aiden is correct a rebuilt title is not a clean title, I'm not sure what a title code means though
Thanks for the back up info
I see there are bidding fees, Does it charge you every time you bid even if you don’t win the auction? Or does it just charge the bid fee for the final winning bid?
You are only charged if you win the auction
You don't need anything but a basic subscription to bid correct? And you can get it shipped to your home right?
Yes basic is what is needed to get started and you can have it shipped to your home
Genuine question looking to purchase on copart. Do all enhanced vehicles not run?
It has to say runs and drives, if it doesn't it could be for a number of reasons including something simple as them not having the keys or a messed up tire, thats why inspecting the car is very important
I just looked at a camper trailer that was listed as an enhanced vehicle and it didn't have anything wrong with it that I could tell other than some dings from hail
@@benjaminlewis671 maybe because it's a trailer and doesn't move forward or backwards under its own power
5:55 can you please explain the difference between "pure sale" and "on reserve"?
Pure sale means no matter what the winning bid amount is you should get the vehicle, on reserve means that there isn't a set amount but they let the seller know the winning bid and the seller can choose to approve the winning amount.
@@ModifiedCrew well explained. Thank you
Copart 👍
👍 Copart Deals on the Daily lol
Copart is annoying. There is a car I want to bid on. It says 7 days to auction. Then when the 7 days is up. It says it will be ready another 7 days. This has been going on for two months now. I think some of these cars listed are fake. Screw them.
I wont argue that, I have has some issues with Copart as well
I been getting email every week for months on one I know they have
Definitely seems to be walking the line between scam and legit.
I’ve been trying to buy an rs7 if I bid $50 and the final bid date comes and no one else bids will I basically pay only $50 for it? One last question, if I win the car, and there is nothing wrong with it and the previous owner just gave it up, will the auction give a salvage title? Because I’m a teen looking to buy a decent rs7 just to drive and I don’t want my insurance to skyrocket just because of a salvage title. There are a lot of rs7 that have not been bid at all.
Sometimes people have reserves met for bidding so if the person that is doing the auction has a reserve met and $50 isn’t it then you have to keep on bidding higher until the reach the reserve
@@christophertugboat9046hhh okay that makes more sense.
If the car is a pure sale and the final bid is $50 when the auction ends then you would get the car for $50 plus the copart fees, taxes, etc. For the salvage title copart mostly sells salvage vehicles but not all of them are salvaged
@@ModifiedCrew oh I see, thankyou very much.
@@ModifiedCrewhow do you know if it’s a pure sale?
Great video, hey bro is copart a scam? Seen soo many bad reviews and videos . how much does broker charge and do you need one. I have a local copart . also can i move it around?
Copart is not a scam they just have a lot of fees that you have to factor in when making your bid, if you don't have a business resale license you would need a broker and you would also have to pay the broker fees as well, I would use the local copart that way you can inspect the car you want to bid on so you don't have any surprises
Can one pay you and you do the bidding , and shipping?
Sorry I dont offer this as a service
So how every much you bid is how much you buy the car for? So if the car bid is at $500 and i bid $550 and win is that how much i pay? And are there any other fees when you buy from copart?
There are many other fees on top of the purchase price, if you go to Coparts fee page it will give you a list to figure out the fees
@@ModifiedCrew thank you
Bro, I want to know when are you gonna win and fix me up a Lamborghini pro bono?
Hot wheels on the way
What does set max amount your willing Toto auto bid for this lot
I think your talking about your max bid and it should counter bid anyone until you reach your max amount
@@ModifiedCrewoh ok thanks for the info I appreciate it
I don’t need an llc or anything to participate in this right?
Never mind I jus answered my own question watching your other videos🤦🏽♂️👍
lol glad the video helped
Are most of the cars salvage title?
Yes they specialize in salvage vehicles otherwise you would want to check out Manheim
Is there a way to know the minimum bid price on a car?
I don't think it shows you what the reserve price is
If I bid and I lost the bid what happened to my money Will I get a refund
You have to go pay for the car after you win so if you dont win they dont have any of your money
If for instance I bid for a car as practice 😭 and actually won. But I don't want to pay, what's the way out. Cause that's not the car I wanted to bid for initially. And they suspended my account, so please what's the way out
How did you fix the situation bro ?
I would give them a call to see if you can work something out, I think this happened to me once and we were able to work something out however I may have had to pay a relisting or restocking fee.
If you use a broker but don’t win do you pay anything to them?
That’s what I’m wondering
Yes you have to pay to register with the broker
How to view bid car without login ? Please let me know
If you look at the top bar it will say inventory and then vehicle finder
Ford f150
Number one sold vehicle in the USA, I might rebuild one because they are so popular
So if a cars buy it now is 30,000 and the highest bid is 4,000 and u put 7,000 on the car how much will u actually get the car for
Seller will usually contact highest bidder and see if they can work out a deal. In your scenario it seems very unlikely.
Its based upon what the seller is willing to sell it for, it can vary, they usually will counterbid
Thanks for the support
What does on approval mean ?
It means that the seller will see the amount the auction went for and decide if they want to let the car go at that price, usually they might try to negotiate a higher price if possible. If you want to avoid this just look for pure sales
It keeps saying not eligible to bid
I would call Copart customer service and they can walk you through the problem and get it resolved, good luck
not good to buy cars...
It can be if you prepare, take your time and research. On the other hand its also can be a easy way to have a costly mistake if details are overlooked
@@ModifiedCrew are you surei it evry explaint .. . it not . thank you .
