    • @Potatorant Everyone says that, find a niche... ???... profit! Newsflash your AI consulting/art side hustle is not going to make you a millionaire in a few months xD you need real skills to start a business, not type in a prompt and rake in cash. People are delusional to what it takes to make money from a proper business. If you think all you need is AI to be successful then do I have a bridge to sell. Better use of AI would be to learn skills, build up a portfolio of work, help review your work... then get a job that pays decently. Once you are past that hurdle, build upon your skills/experience and develop business acumen and other high-value skills which you will use to help you start a business - note some of the most boring and common businesses (ie lawnmowing, garbage collecting, trades businesses etc.) make insane money, don't try and chase the next shiny new trend because the only people making money on AI ChatGPT businesses that are those who make KZhead videos on it.

Etsy should not allow discounts to be applied immediately aswell, they should require the product to be sold for 6 months before that price can be discounted against.

  • my wife wanted to try this as a side hustle to bring in some extra cash every month so i've been watching videos on it. this is the first video I've found that actually came off as honest. those youtubers out there claiming to make $20k/month are just clickbait assholes. they got into that world early which allowed them to establish their etsy store long before the rush of people and now they just milk it further by making bullshit videos. They probably make more off the video claim than they do their store. Your results come off as what an actual regular person can expect if they try to get into this today

    • Still $6.38 more than just a straight 15% off discount on the $50.00. So a $6.38 on a little bit of a sales manipulation. Not much, but could help the bottom line with all of those fees that etsy charged.

  • This is the thing that people don't seem to comprehend when starting an Etsy shop and/or an e-commerce business in general - results don't happen overnight. If your expectation is to make quick art and sell it quickly on these shops, you might as well throw in the towel now. Like with any business, getting traffic to your site is key. You need traffic to convert to sales. Most people get discouraged after a month or two because they see little to no traffic and think it means their products aren't good enough. Which leads ro failure. If you believe in your work or what you are offering, then sticking with it, putting in the effort and continuing to learn how the business works to bring traffic to your shop, is the only way to have a successful business. I know a few people that started from scratch with their shops. On average it took them 6-8 months to start seeing steady, profitable sales. All three are about 2 or more years into their shops and doing quite well. Now they are implementing AI work into their process and things have really taken off. So it takes time. Just like any other business. No different than starting a KZhead channel. It doesn't happen overnight. If you aren't willing to invest your time, effort and money, then you won't see the results. So this was a good video for anyone getting into the space. To understand this is a marathon, not a sprint. Set your expectations, base those expectations in REALITY, research the business and put in the work. These are the keys to making things happen.

So keep that in mind every time you make an edit or change to your listing, you will not see much traffic on that for one to two days he needs time to get back into the algorithm.

There are a few steps which require a more in-depth learning, which could take weeks if you are a complete beginner to this like myself. I myself, I am still in the mock-ups phase. I have to watch other KZhead videos to learn these things. Not to say this is complete bulldoodoo, because there are good ideas in this video, but it’s more of a quick introduction to Etsy and Printful rather than an in depth tutorial. • At last! A realistic AI art video that doesn't promise we can all make $15,000 a month from a few prints. Its not easy. Even with the ads, its about 25c-45c a click, and you need a lot of clicks to make a sale. So with low profit items, I even find the ads are costing more than the profit on the sales they generate.

By that point you can just buy a sub, do you think anyone ever would be able or have any interest in you to actually go and look up exactly your discord name and then go for the trouble of looking into who you are, then applying legal charges to you because you sold an AI ART of something? That you can literally put a dot on the image and say you made changes to it. Like imagine the legal trouble someone would go to hunt down a nobody like you? That they can't by any means know who you are and if you do or not have a subscription in (WHATEVER) program u used, even if they can prove you did AI ART? And then, for the biggest offender, do you actually think MidJourney themselves would go after you Mr. Nobody?
