In playoff hockey, a team will only go as far as its goaltender will take them. The team who has the goalie with the hot hand is usually the team to beat. The Igor we expected to see in net was exactly what we got in this series. I don't think I have seen him as relaxed in any game as he was in game 7 tonight. Calm, cool and collected. Never got rattled. I like our chances against Tampa. LGR!!!

I said before game started Canes continue taking STUPID penalties would be their downfall and it was. They just were a team that did/could not learn. I see them not getting past 2nd round for the continuing future. They just don't have it in them. Maybe next year Rod will sit the players on the bench for most of the game if they take stupid penalties. Maybe then they will get the message. Tampa will probably lose 1st game because they will be rusty.

Trouba's hit on Jarvis knocking him out the game was the play of the game. There must have been 12 people on the Carolina bench that were focused on Jarvis after he finally crawled his way back to the bench and collapsed on the floor. The concern that play and its aftermath sent throughout the Carolina lineup was impactful.

Carolina didnt play super inspired hockey. their special teams looked flat, and they couldn't get flow in the offensive zone when needed. Sure, they out shot the rangers, but the Rangers scoring opportunities in this and other games were superior imo. Still a young team so plenty of time to build off this season and improve.

To be honest, we have four very exciting team here. They have great offense, the goalies should make the difference. I think NY or Tampa will win the final because of that. For Oilers/Avs, I really don't know what gonna happen. If Smith is good, Oilers have their chances, but if he s sloppy, they won't make it, because nobody provide offense for Edmonton except for McDavid, Draisaitl, Kane ans Hyman.

People forget the rangers were basically a .500 team the past 5-6 years. If you told me before the start of the season that the rangers would be in a position to win the metro or make the cup, I would’ve bet a lot of money against you lol Being one of the youngest teams in the league (I think we avg being 26-27 years old), we exceeded all expectations. Gallant and Drury deserve a lot of credit for what they’ve done with the coaching, development and off-season/deadline moves. The vatrano and Copp deals look to be the smartest of the deadline and who the hell would’ve thought that lol the team will need to tighten up against Tampa. Our game plan relies so much on Shesty, I’m praying our defense can make it easier for him but we HAVE to win face offs. We are one of the worst in the league lol the difference maker this upcoming series will 100% be special teams. PP needs to stay hot and our key PK guys need to stay healthy. Best of luck to the remaining teams but with that being said, Let’s Go Rangers!

I had forgotten how much the Rangers outplayed Carolina. Staal absolutely shut down the Panarin line but there was just too much firepower. This year the Rangers are better but Carolina got Guentzel, a Ranger killer. He was a thorn in our side in the previous series. This year though we got the best version of Trochek so we'll see. Either way Florida is loving it. One of the two teams they'll face for the chance at a SC are going to wear themselves out.

Thanks to the Rangers for disposing off the Candy Canes.. if they had some how survived this game they would have been the first team to host the Eastern conference finals after losing all 6 previous road games.. what kind of an ugly record is that ? Has the Eastern conference host ever had such a record on the road ? The Bolts are still favored but at least the Rangers will give them a serious fight. I am a Canes fan, and I admit it was not the performance I was hoping for. That said, the hockey gods decide winners and losers long before the puck drop so no point second guessing them. The god's ultimate goal may be for the Bolts to utterly humiliate the Rags in the next round, and a Canes loss was necessary to set that up. It is what it is..

You are trying to rationalize the performance of a team that couldn't win one road playoff game out of six and couldn't close out game 7 at home.. 6-2 is a drubbing any time but losing by that margin at home in a game 7 is virtually unheard off. The Rags as you call them just whupped the Canes in the last two games.. the results were never really in doubt in both games 6 and 7 . They may not beat the Bolts but they wont fold so easily like the Canes did

In playoff hockey, a team will only go as far as its goaltender will take them. The team who has the goalie with the hot hand is usually the team to beat. The Igor we expected to see in net was exactly what we got in this series. I don't think I have seen him as relaxed in any game as he was in game 7 tonight. Calm, cool and collected. Never got rattled. I like our chances against Tampa. LGR!!!

I said before game started Canes continue taking STUPID penalties would be their downfall and it was. They just were a team that did/could not learn. I see them not getting past 2nd round for the continuing future. They just don't have it in them. Maybe next year Rod will sit the players on the bench for most of the game if they take stupid penalties. Maybe then they will get the message. Tampa will probably lose 1st game because they will be rusty.

There must have been 12 people on the Carolina bench that were focused on Jarvis after he finally crawled his way back to the bench and collapsed on the floor. The concern that play and its aftermath sent throughout the Carolina lineup was impactful.

Thanks, and honestly I thought we could handle Boston (not easy as they have a few fearsome game-changer individuals which the Canes lack) but was happy we got the Canes cuz I thought they were way overrated. I think our Rangers even overrated them as well. The Rangers have some awesome talent spread out all over the place with that third line of kids just getting their mojo.

Carolina didnt play super inspired hockey. their special teams looked flat, and they couldn't get flow in the offensive zone when needed. Sure, they out shot the rangers, but the Rangers scoring opportunities in this and other games were superior imo. Still a young team so plenty of time to build off this season and improve.

To be honest, we have four very exciting team here. They have great offense, the goalies should make the difference. I think NY or Tampa will win the final because of that. For Oilers/Avs, I really don't know what gonna happen. If Smith is good, Oilers have their chances, but if he s sloppy, they won't make it, because nobody provide offense for Edmonton except for McDavid, Draisaitl, Kane ans Hyman.

People forget the rangers were basically a .500 team the past 5-6 years. If you told me before the start of the season that the rangers would be in a position to win the metro or make the cup, I would’ve bet a lot of money against you lol Being one of the youngest teams in the league (I think we avg being 26-27 years old), we exceeded all expectations. Gallant and Drury deserve a lot of credit for what they’ve done with the coaching, development and off-season/deadline moves. The vatrano and Copp deals look to be the smartest of the deadline and who the hell would’ve thought that lol the team will need to tighten up against Tampa. Our game plan relies so much on Shesty, I’m praying our defense can make it easier for him but we HAVE to win face offs. We are one of the worst in the league lol the difference maker this upcoming series will 100% be special teams. PP needs to stay hot and our key PK guys need to stay healthy. Best of luck to the remaining teams but with that being said, Let’s Go Rangers!

Лундквист безусловно легенда Рейнджерс, но все его достижения преимущество на уровне сборной и в шведском чемпионате. Свои единственный Везина Трофи он получил на седьмой год. Шестёркин на второй уже в номинации, главное, чтобы его не прокатили как Василевского в прошлом году.

I had forgotten how much the Rangers outplayed Carolina. Staal absolutely shut down the Panarin line but there was just too much firepower. This year the Rangers are better but Carolina got Guentzel, a Ranger killer. He was a thorn in our side in the previous series. This year though we got the best version of Trochek so we'll see. Either way Florida is loving it. One of the two teams they'll face for the chance at a SC are going to wear themselves out.

Thanks to the Rangers for disposing off the Candy Canes.. if they had some how survived this game they would have been the first team to host the Eastern conference finals after losing all 6 previous road games.. what kind of an ugly record is that ? I am a Canes fan, and I admit it was not the performance I was hoping for. That said, the hockey gods decide winners and losers long before the puck drop so no point second guessing them. The god's ultimate goal may be for the Bolts to utterly humiliate the Rags in the next round, and a Canes loss was necessary to set that up. It is what it is..

You are trying to rationalize the performance of a team that couldn't win one road playoff game out of six and couldn't close out game 7 at home.. 6-2 is a drubbing any time but losing by that margin at home in a game 7 is virtually unheard off. The Rags as you call them just whupped the Canes in the last two games.. the results were never really in doubt in both games 6 and 7 . They may not beat the Bolts but they wont fold so easily like the Canes did
