  • Had the 4.4 (BMW), 4.2 SC, 5.0 SC in the L322 - the SC variations were wonderful and for me, totally reliable.

  • I just bought a 2007 last with 74,000 mile dealer service records from the time purchase. It was only driven to Vermont and the Hampton's. Please with my luck that I will not go bankrupt.

  • Clean example 🤩, I have the same year supercharged in giverny green. The only difference is mine has the rear factory entertainment. To me this engine and transmission is the best. I knew better than to even look at the bmw powered Range Rover. And know they’re using bmw V8 again in the 2023 redesign 😤🤬. I sure hope it’s improved.

    • Unlikely, they're using the BMW N63B44T3 (N63TU3) which is already implicated in a class action lawsuit against BMW for excessively high / abnormal oil consumption, and many other issues have been reported, as well. I'd be very surprised if LR's implementation completely fixes these issues.

  • That has to be one of the best examples of a well maintained (2006) L322. Most (I’ve seen) have dash lights lit like Christmas tree or the air suspension has bottomed out.

    • That's the problem with these; they're not unreliable, but they're maintenance intensive. When they get this cheap, the owners are often those who can't afford to properly maintain them.

  • I have an '07 L322SC, Java Black exterior and Jet interior, full piano wood, rear seat entertainment, etc. Just passed 215k on the odometer this month, still runs like a dream. Have had issues with the air suspension before and a coolant leak or two but otherwise the car has been very reliable for a high mileage Supercharged British SUV. At this point considering it's such high mileage, I plan on keeping this thing until the wheels literally fall off but considering how well it runs I don't see that happening any time soon. Only issue I really have is the gas consumption, I average probably 13 mpg but considering how much power you get I can forgive it. Overall a great machine

You should try using the Sport mode or even the command shift to se how they really get up and go for a two and three quarter ton vehicle. I'm not going to call it a truck because it isn't! Lol

  • Land Rover Reliability really improved once it got Ford derived powertrain, the aj was really designed by ford because Ford owned jaguar, land Rover and Aston Martin. The l322 was actually produced all under Ford ownership despite being designed and planned by bmw.

  • One o f the poorest reviews of our very British Range Rover ever, before you begin to present a video on the subject, ( Range Rover ) you need to do some research & learn, within the video there are statements from you that just do't make sense , in the early part you lifted the tailgate and pointed out the BMW carpets , what ? BMW carpets ? do some research ! you bummed up the BMW V8 engine, you failed to tell the viewer they fell apart due to slipping cylinder liners, you also mentioned the BMW 6 cylinder engine which you said was ideal for this vehicle, actually , this vehicle weighs almost 3 Tons and that engine is far from suitable for the purpose, excellent engine in a saloon car made in Germany, it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding in a Range Rover L322, I could go on about your lack of knowledge on the subject, not wishing to bore the readers I will finish off with your last remark while driving, ''it doesn't perform like a sports car'' of course it doesn't, just in case you failed (again) to notice, it is not a sports car, however, it is the very best 4X 4 ever built, in Britain , no other manufacturer in the World has designed or built anything to touch it, so, in future, get back to researching your subject before you think about sharing knowledge with others. No offence, purely an observation Best Regards & Good Luck
