Lyrics:
I was caught
In the middle of a railroad track (thunder)
I looked round
And I knew there was no turning back (thunder)
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do? (thunder)
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you (thunder)
Sound of the drums
Beating in my heart
The thunder of guns (yeah)
Tore me apart
You've been
Thunderstruck

Pure rock at it's finest. No one and I mean no one comes close to AC/DC . A unique band with a unique raw sound.
Fucking rocked it

Nobody, but nobody can do it like ACDC.bloody brilliant 🎸🎶
The best version of Thunderstruck Phil is going nuts❤
Phil Rudd turns ACDC into a machine that undoubtedly seems to be heavy and unstoppable. His timing is breathtaking. This is Rock. When you got aware of this nothing else for you is allowed to be called Rock.
Phil Rudd will forever be the best drummer for AC/DC, always on tempo and beating that drumkit like it owns him money.
Nothing beats these incredible men, the rock n roll they create, and their crowds of fans !! ⚡⚡🤘⚡⚡
It would be and interesting fact to know how many sold out shows they've had

R.I.P. Malcolm Young. True Guitar Hero!
No 1 good as the original band! Best song and best concert late 70's!!!!¡

Not the same without him but the nephew what’s his name continues the legacy!.. :)

This is the best live version to me , Brian could still hit the high key and Phil's drumming sounds, and looks really raw and powerful. Especially loved that part Cliff first starts tuning in, all fantastic.
It was played in La Monumental de las Ventas, Madrid's bullring. .., what a concert
but the crowd explosion is more in river plate Argentina. check out
Phil’s drumming is powerful and really drives this song!
Phil’s drumming is so good in this show! This is really the only tour where I think Phil did this song better than Chris Slade. Phil was on fire this tour!
Been rocking with AC/DC since the 80s .40 years later there still making me rock wow what a group!!!!
So your a newcomer then! Lol. I was in grade 4 in '75 and all I had was a radio. But they got alot of airplay here in Australia.
СЕНТЯБРЬ 2022 СМОТРИТ И СЛУШАЕТ !!!
Вот это энергетика! Просто зашкаливает!
2:17 I especially love the drum fill that Phil Rudd does here. Really powerful, and a nice way to put his own spin on the song.
I agree that really stood out to me as well
Yes sir!!!
He was not in the original recording, but he played like an animal, having him back in the band must have been the greatest thing the band members experienced back in the 90's...

Can we talk about Cliff head banging in the background?!?! What a freaking boss!

F........ing brilliant!! My parents were so fortunate, to see AC/DC play in Melbourne, Australia, back in the 70's. 76 i think it was. My Father in Law saw the band, making the film clip, "It's a Long Way to the Top" (if you wanna rock'n'roll). They performed on the back of a truck, heading down a few famous Melbourne (Australia) Streets & they belted out, loud & proud, to the absolute excitement & amazement of all onlookers & passers by. There was much traditional Scottish regalia & fanfare. Bagpipes, tartan & all!! My husband's Scottish Dad, said it was so very loud & so very good!! Poor old Bon Scott. RIP eternally. Your family, friends & fans, will always miss your earthly presence.
Yeah Phil has to be the most underrated drummer his timeing is impeccable
Underrated? He is playing with AC/DC
He made this song better, no disrespect to Chris Slade tho
Sorry but i don’t think you know what I meant by being underrated what i meant is he is so great but doesn’t get the respect and recognition he deserves
@@norvinzor i agree bro, i love Chris Slade but Phil Rudd is the best drummer AC/DC got.

Without a doubt, one of the BADDEST BANDS IN THE WORLD! They not only kick ass, they own it! Very few bands reach this level, but this band is truly is in a class of their own. AC/DC FOREVER BABY!
After this concert , Madrid decided to dedicate a street to ac/dc !!!! Calle ACDC ! Good taste 😉😁

Phil adds such an extra layer of electricity to this track. His style is just perfect for it. He is the perfect drummer for AC/DC
This exceptional riff has been a workout song for over a quarter of a century & NEVER once has it lost its intense impact. Question is, why is it NOT in your workout play list? 🔥👍🏻🧨
Me too!
Absolutely stellar performance. These guys from Australia & England are phenomenal. Think about this. They are older professionals that have stamina & play at a level that is absolutely jaw dropping. Bon Scott kicked ass, & Brian Johnson had big shoes to fill after we lost Bon. He did it with vigor. Well done my Ausie friends! America absolutely loves you.
The Young brothers are from Scotland. Peace
@@carlgustav945 they have always considered themselves Aussies as they all grew up here at a very young age except for the current Lead singer now. But yes they are Scottish. Australians are descendants of English Irish n Scots.
Man, my grandmother loved ACDC when she was here in human form, I remember that I was like about maybe 8 or 9 at the time I remember, lol, we'd get into her car so she could take me to school and she would turn that radio up so loud and just start banging on the steering wheel and mind you, driving her car at the same dam time but I would be so scared because I thought she was freaking angry and mad at me and the whole time she was just jamming out and really enjoying her ACDC music and so now I just have to listen to the same songs that she likes by ACDC and like herself I jamming the heck out

I WISH I HAD A TIME MACHINE
You know, I used to think that "For those about to rock" should always have started off the gigs but whether you are there live or just listening in and the intro to "Thunderstruck" kicks in it really does give you the shivers. I can only shake my head in wonderment at the sheer energy generated by the boys. Thank heaven they are now now back in town. Greatest line in Rock and Roll ? "And the singer turned and he said to the crowd LET - THERE- BE - ROCK ". Simply timeless - and I'm already on the wrong side of 70. Bon or Brian - it really doesn't matter but it has to be said that Angus really is the greatest living axeman and the greatest axeman who ever lived.
For those about to rock has always been the gig ender....
As if he had to tell us the name of the song, that's one of the most iconic songs of all time

holy shit look at Phil go! holy hell! at 2:08 it's awesome. and then at 2:16 it's insane! Only Phil Rudd can take a song that wasn't his (Thunderstruck - Chris Slade) and fuckin MAKE it his! Rock on Phil Rudd - The Greatest Drummer In The World!
ImperialRadioYT Not many people realize how good he is, how he plays just a few milliseconds behind the beat, combined with Malcolms syncopated guitar riffs, to create a groove like no other band can do. They can play one chord, in a 4/4 measure, and do it better than any other band could. It's amazing.

For me, this performance was the first time hearing Phil Rudd play "Thunderstruck" and I remember instantly thinking "Now this song finally makes sense!" I have tremendous respect for Chris Slade, but Rudd brings this wispy swing to his beats that fits so perfectly with AC/DC.
Exactly what I was thinking ! It grooves sooooooo much better with the classic lineup !
Chris Slade is better in this song bud. Look it in Donington!!
@@ramjam2499 nah totally disagree sorry ..... and he wrote the drum part too !! The band are just tighter in this version, no way round it
Agreed. They were never going to do this, but I wish they had re-recorded “Razor’s Edge” with Rudd. I feel like he would have really killed it on “Money Talks.”
Nope. It sounds weird with Rudd. Nothing beats the original with Slade. Donington's 91 version is the best live version period.
Ancora una musica unica, ad oggi nessuno riesce ad eguagliarla.

its so amazing to see a crowd thats not holding phones and just jumping around enjoying the music i hope that crowds nowadays return to this because it just makes it a better environment and a better concert

but its still nice to see a crowd actually enjoying the performance and not just staring at phones i get there werent any phones but is still nice to se
+moveslikesmoove69 They record with their phones.
the only reason to have a phone at a concert is to take a video of it. who agrees?
unless your a oldy with alzheimers you shouldnt need a video to relive a concert it not only pisses of the performers but it makes you look like a dick and its dangerous at times. and most times the only reason they want photos and videos is so they can upload it to facebook for likes
