Oh wow, Elephants are so amazing. My heart was in my mouth with the little pink calf crossing the river. The current was strong but the others never left his side and he made it. What a sighting!! Seeing this rare elephant calf is a first for me. Thanks so much MalaMala. 😍👍❤💯
Mama would never risk crossing the river , if it was dangerous for the calf

Love seeing the pink elephants. I follow a group, HERD Elephant Orphanage, and they have a pink elephant that came to them as a rescue and Khanyisa is growing in leaps and bounds. I have learned so much about elephants from their site.

This was great! 👍The baby elephant appears only a few hours old. The mother went underwater to make sure that the baby stayed afloat and they all made it across the Sand. The cheetahs playing were nice also. It's always good to see them.
What a fantastic footage, I was nervous for the calf at one point but WOW an elephant mother knows exactly what to do in a situation like this! The Cheetahs are very beatiful🧡💛💜
This Mama elephant showed such amazing intelligence and love and nurturing. She kept her baby in front of her at all times gently nudging the infant forward and to the surface of the water to breathe. Bravo to this magnificent elephant Mom and her team of helpers. Vivienne you should look for HERD elephant rescue, they have Khanyisa a pink orphan baby elephant who is adopted into a herd of all orphans. It is so great to see her everyday.

MalaMala's notes say that the little pink elephant is leucistic. This is the same genetic characteristic that the two Birmingham white lions have and that "Casper the White Lion" in Kruger Nat'l Park has.

There is an infamous black and white photo of the Loch Ness monster which I've always thought was a pic of an elephant under the water. It looks like an elephant's trunk instead of a plesiosaur's neck, to me..

Yes there are - but it is extremely rare for a croc to go after an elephant

@@guitaristssuck8979 Well, that is debatable, if the eye color is different to the norm ( which is the case for this cute little one) , it's more likely to be albinism than leucism, best way for sure is proper examination by a professional!
