1998 Opel Vectra 1.6 74kw
Looks like its been standing for short time but in fact its been standing that long. Brakes are not working and fuel pump was also stuck and some problems with idle.

    • Yep. Give it a tune-up, fresh fluids, brakes, a fresh clutch, and new tires and it wouldn't be a bad car for a new teenage driver.

  • This one looks in great condition, like it's about 5 years old. I had a 1999 Vectra B 2.0 petrol, very good car. I now have a 1995 Vectra A.

    • @@ItsMeKeryao No, he upgraded xd. A is always better than B model. They are broken maded by factory :D My father has a 1994 Vectra A for 16 years, and the car never leave us in a bad situation. Just gave him fuel and water thats enough :D

  • This car was my first car, but mine had steering wheel controls, leather seats and power seats, but when I saw this video, I got nostalgic. Oh I miss my vectra. Even The paint is the same.

  • I had the very last Vectra B, 2001 production, 2.2 diesel. A rare version, because the interior was white (seats + dashboard). Very nice and reliable car.

    • Вот на поворотах в городе, я бы не сказал, что она прям идеальная, за, что и называют её коровой. Вот на трассе особенно после 100 км/ ч, вот тут мне нравиться.

  • Greetings, the Opel Vectra, which has been standing still for ll years, is in very good condition, I believe that with a minimal investment that car could be operational again. This has been demonstrated by the fact that you have not had many complications when starting it, as I have seen that has happened to you with other vehicles. Once again you have done it, you have returned a car to "life" when it was "dead". I say goodbye until the next video.

    • that's the benefit of a garage, can last a long time without rusting if stored, I'd prob sell my car instead of letting it rot outside

  • Still looks good. with a little love it can last for years. i've had 3. 2x sedan and 1x a station. in the station I have driven for 13 years without any significant problems. at 311,000 kilometers I gave her back to nature. they were good family cars. very occasionally you come across them.

  • My Dad had one of it. 1.6, 16 V. I loved it so much when I was a little girl! It was all metallic grey, dark interiors .. I would like to buy a Vectra again: reliable and fun to drive. Fortunately, I had the chance to drive it before the selling. It was sold to buy a new Opel Crossland.

  • my dad bought 1.8 98 vectra in 2002,I was born in 98. I had two older brothers. That vectra was ours everyones first car. I sold it in 2019. From the child backseat to my first car was an amazing experience and it was soooo solid car! I am so suprised of that low corossion level! So many memories from this video!

  • the era when Opel was top notch, surprised at how little rust the car has considering the weather. This model is very common where i live, the only downside is the fuel consuption of the Family 2 engines compared to newer cars, but it still a very good car

  • This are excelent cars,i have 1 in house similiar its a 1.4 16v 90hp is such a wonderful car,11 years and he wakes up like this ready to go travel with is owner. This one deserves a second chance ! And is confortable,safe and big car for a family. Ecotec gasoline and diesel too will live forever. Another great video, big love for saving this cars.   • Considering the car must probably be from the late 90s, it was abandoned quite early. Not even 10 years of use. Quite common the idle problem. Thanx for this new relaxing video!

    • Gasoline Direct Injection, you have to clean the intake of carbon because the fuel is injected directly inside the cylinder so there ends up being carbon buildup just above the valve seats. This is why is specified to do a intake cleaning at 100k

  • Preferred the earlier Cavalier, but the Vectra B wasn’t a bad car. Ended up with a permanent bad reputation because of Jeremy Clarkson, at least in the UK.
