@@addictedonhiphop & the negativity from the so called hip hop fans is unreal on Nas's album. I've been arguing/defending "Kings Disease" since it's release, which is 5 days now. It just proves what Nas said some years ago which some commercialized artist took offense to. Hip Hop is dead. In this era, lyrics doesn't matter anymore. Any & everything is now being classified as hip hop as long you make a couple of lines rhyme on a beat. & if it's a club bangin beat, all you have to do now is just fart over the mfka & it's "THAT'S MY SONG", becoming a top 5 billboard charter. I’ve seen him many, many times. In my top 10 for sure. I’ve only seen him disappoint once. He didn’t finish or get through one song. He played like 30 seconds to a minute of a track tops, got everyone hyped then just cut the music and rambled. He wasn’t “teaching” like normal he was just cutting and screaming over and over. After talking for two mins - he’d play a classic for 30 seconds and cut it. We were so confused and disappointed and I’ve never seen an artist do that before.... still one of my ultimate favs tho and he can rock the staaaage

He had 5 albums plus the collaboration album thug life volume 1 he has the best discography out of any rapper, and nobody worked as hard or as fast as him and he has more catalog and category than Nas rakim and all these other niggas, and put out better music and had a better career than all. Nas is top two for me tho, rakim is possibly the greatest lyricist or not idgaf bout lyricism but as a rapper he’s a bit overrated.

Rakim's verse is untouchable. Notice, also, that he includes all MC's here in the body of his verse, a salutation to his peers, and then- as always- drops the heaviest bars to remind us who is King of New York and the Greatest to bless a mic: RAKIM.

@Father kings disease was a 💎 out there
@@addictedonhiphop & the negativity from the so called hip hop fans is unreal on Nas's album.
Was incredibly to see him in a packed out Motion Night Club in Bristol, UK 6 or so years ago. He was incredible...a dream come true. Croud was packed but the buzz was awesome. As always, have a lovely evening 😊

No disrespect to Kanye, thanks for putting this track together, but I’m so happy to hear this version without his verse on it.
Yo Krishnabulkin, I'm happy for you, and I'm going to let you finish. But Kanye West had one of the best verses on this track of all time! Of all time!
Kanye West verse was terrible.
