Bucket List Trails in Colorado - Carnage Canyon & Holy Cross
Our first time wheeling in Colorado was a blast, and a huge challenge. The Great American Crawl made a visit to Buena Vista, Colorado, the home of some of the state's most famous off road trails. We went big on our first day, tackling Carnage Canyon right away. It's a short trail, but the few obstacles on it proved to be some of the hardest we've ever attempted, winches and cages were used!
For day two we had more relaxing plans, traveling north to the Holy Cross City trail. It was the perfect trail for a much larger group, offering lines of every difficulty and amazing views along the whole trail.

I love these videos...... except when I have to listen to Gridlocks exhaust note. Needs something different. It always sounds cheap on video.
I agree totally. I just didn’t want to be the 1st one to point it out. There’s probably not much real estate under there for too much muffler. We’ve added resinators to our rigs to mellow out the noise.

The first obstacle on holy cross we call saginaw rock. Three of us have eaten steering gears there. We live in Eagle

Carnage aint no joke ive seen way less money make it thru there its all about the lines.
All due respect, but who is the dip holding the winch line while the wheels are spinning and smoking?
Do we get the feel and go or do we floor it and bust parts? What happened with finesse?
In the case of these fragile, unstable machines maybe should be called the great American stall.
That first trail was super burly. When rigs that built have problems and break that's seriously gnarly. 😐

Conditions of trails are always changing. One year it's easy another year maybe tons of rain and washout. It's off-road not the mall !!
