Voyager did a few covers of fellow artists if I remember well (their cover of Adam Lambrou is in the 2023 playlist) and some other contestants did Eurovision songs of other years. Last year one did Amar Pelos Dois. And this year Slimane is covering Voilà! Looking forward to that! 🧡

It's both admirable and moving that a contestant has opted to perform another's song from the competition. Unpopular opinion, but I like this a LOT better than The Tower
It's such a relief to get into comment section under foreign video of Luna and read lots of positive comments. Poles hold such venomous hatred towards artists from our home country. It's horribly devastating.
Luna did a very pleasant cover of Slimane's song, proving herself to be an artist with romanticism. I believe that if all the singers of Eurovision 2024 exchanged songs it would be an amazing show!

I ktoś mi powie, że nie umie śpiewać. Może to nie Celine Dion, ale już w Barcelonie było wiadomo, że potrafi zaśpiewać The Tower, a w Londynie serio była chora. Nie bronię zaciekle jako fan, lecz po prostu logicznie analizuję fakty.
W studiu z każdego można zrobić wokalistę. Ważne, żeby na żywo brzmiało podobnie. Wtedy jest się dobrym wokalistą.

Most of them are cool, comparing to previous year when most of them were boring and I had only 3 or 4 favorite ones. By the way, I don't like our song, neither I liked our song from previous year. 😄 Alright, no problem, it can remain a secret & I see, anywhere here is safe and as a city, Ljubljana is the most interesting and alive city. And as always, big cities and capital cities are more dangerous than small and not that important ones. Makes sense, right. But still it's not a rule and in Slovenia is overall very safe so you shouldn't be worrying. And about nature, well you won't see it in Ljubljana. 😄 And yes, have a nice trip and time!

That's what intrigues me...must be the female tone - of course Slimane has a very powerful voice but we are somehow "tuned" to like certain voices more than others - she sounds fantastic (this much better than The Tower) - in a way I redescovered Mon Amour thanks to her performance.

@@Ally-xw5sm There's plenty of upbeat songs this year...in my view The Tower like Olly's Dizzy lack the extra hump to stand out (both in the top 20 of my list). The Tower doesn't show the best from Luna...just like Nutsa (Georgia) is another great singer with a "not so good" song.
