A great era for Observed Trials. I rode Montesa Cotas, a 247 and Rathmell 348 in AHRMA Modern Classic events in the ‘90s. Won second in a muddy National on the 348. Fantastic bike, but there were lots of Sherpas and TYs too.

my father bought me the OSSA MAR 250cc in 1977 when I was 15 ... my brother had the Cota 349 Ulf Karlsson and my best friend that same Sherpa blue. Oldies goldies !!!

I lusted after a Bultaco back before I went in the service. It would be so neat to have such a controllable bike that was actually quieter then my knees are now.
