You’re talking about the ESPN era , let me school you in, before Rob it was Dave Ryan from back in 2003-2007, then Rob filled in for Dave from 2008-2012 era, Randy Pedersen really got started back in 1994 as a mic guest on ABC Professional Bowlers Tour, years later he started his play-by-play on FOX SPORTS NET back in 2000. Then he went onto ESPN back in 2001, then in 2003 with Dave Ryan, then he was back into the PBA in 2005 & I saw him practicing at Babylon Bowl along Tom Baker way before he injured his legs or knees. Then years later when Rob Stone came in as a “permanent guest” on ESPN back in 2008. Don’t get me wrong when Rob Stone was fine at first “on ESPN” way before him & Randy on FOX back in 2019 & it was marked for a debut in broadcasting & Kimberly Pressler “was on ESPN TOO.” You forgot about KIMBERLY. Generation bowlers really don’t know Rob’s history. He had been into broadcasting for the past 16 years. Dave LaMont filled in due to absence, Dave Ryan came back due to 2020 & the covid era began. John Fanta filled in, so lousy while Rob Stone was doing College football games on FOX SPORTS. And nowadays, FOX asked him back to the podium with Randy Pedersen. “Randy Randy Randy” So I know he came right back for a reason is to be back as a play-by-play commentator.
