Maybe no chain that'll pull about 60t with that suction the truck loaded would be around 35 to 40t alone and you'd need an excellent recovery point and it's just too dangerous to man and machine if they don't have the right setup
exactly they wasted this mans time / two loaded trucks off the frame coulda pulled him out
Well they had to build some land first behind the stuck truck so the dozer had something to push against

Can't just pull it out. Suction is a real problem and the back half of the loaded truck was deep in the mud/water.
Wow in AMERICA everyone helps, we don’t work around the guy. Maybe that’s what makes our Nation so great. In AMERICA people stop and help when someone is in trouble.

That first dozer driver did not help at all instead of moving dirt away from buried truck he kept pushing more an more dirt up around it. Thank goodness the second dozer driver had common sense enough to move dirt away from buried truck

30 years driving dumps and other construction vehicles I've never seen it take so long to recover a truck
I hope the truck driver gets paid by the hour, not the load!
or how they buried it in the first place, rather getting it out there when it happened. Horrible compaction going on too.
If they would have flipped the tail door over towards the truck body, it would have given the dozen a straight run to have cleared the material from the back allowing easy tipping before pushing and dragging the empty truck. A twenty minute job!

Draining the site six months before filling would stop your fill turning into quick sand

Why not get the truck out first instead of piling all the dirt around it . I understand putting it behind to push it
this was an easy recovery they could have use 2 dozzer in front of the truck to give it more pulling power faster but they save the best to the last the small dozzer has no power to put the truck by him self
This bogged down truck strikes me as a real mule's head that flatly refuses to get down to work, even though it's being beaten with a riding crop! We had to push him from behind and pull him from the front for him to finally decide to get out of trouble! It's the same for some humans with whom you have to use all the means in order to get a minimum!

That was really stupid of that dozer operator to push all those rocks and stuff right up under that truck our truck drivers all carry chains just in case they need to be pulled out

I'm glad they kept their wits about themselves and took the steady thoughtful road ahead. A well excuted recovery and actually quite efficient considering they had to continue placing the "bridge lift" of dirt several feet past the back of the truck so they could stop or build a dam to contain the water infiltration into the area behind the truck. The water was stopped giving them an opportunity to excavate a hole at the back for the stuck truck to dump into. I had to do the same thing on a similiar job 25+ years ago. It just took a long time to get enough dirt hauled for the recovery process to start! WELL DONE!!!!

Well I have many years experience and two people are at fault for this poor excuse. One the site Engineer and 2nd the dozer operater. That is not how you backfill ponds lakes or streams by pushing fill clear down to water level. This just causes areas of muck to crowd up and create soft spots. The proper way is to maintain at least a meter of lift above any mud or water to create a solid bed on top of the soft muck. It's similar to installing a culvert packing the fill around it to support the weight of traffic over top of it. It was a soft spot that entrapped this truck and was not fault of the driver. Even worse leaving it sit right in middle of job site.

WOW pull the truck out with the dozer
@Babsyred...15 ton dozer cannot pull a 30ton loaded truck. A dozer will only move it's own weight or less!!! You could say hook 2-3 dozers and 2-3 dump trucks together for pulling simultaneously then the loaded truck will have possible (or some combinations of the following)...broken axles, springs, differentials, drive lines, universal joints, frame, "U bolts", thin metal skin of truck cab, brake lines broken, engine clutch burn out, motor mount(s) broken (causing possible destruction of truck's radiator)....and many other things unmentioned...all at multi $1000.00 expenses to the point truck might never be able to work again. Slow, like the turtle, gets the job done.

Он груженный, как его вытащат. Спереди за трос цеплять, тоже дураков нет все бульдозеры с открытой кабиной, если оборвет и хлестанет, то трактористу пизда. Сзади толкнуть никак, вода. Вот и закапывали.
You can easily tell that all the trucks are overloaded beyond there capacity. why do they love to overload trucks in that part of the world. This can be dangerous and also cuase damage to the truck over the long period.
This could have been 1/3 as long. They showed every thing from at least from 3 different angles repeating everything 3 timess.
I'd have got a couple of blokes and flipped the tailgate of the truck over, then the dozer could've cleared behind it properly
No Supervisor on duty? Huge waste of time.

It's strange. Why don't they immediately pull a stuck car out in front by hooking it up to a bulldozer with a rope? Why do they start backfilling it from both sides, it's in the way of others. How many such videos I watch, and I cannot understand why they do not pull out the jammed car at once.

я тоже думал, ну что же они задний борт наверх не опракинут , или могли бы с петель скинуть , и боялся что бульдозер лопатой помнёт борт. Дааааа .. у нас бы оторвали буфер, крюки , мосты вырвали , но вытащили в 10 раз быстрее
Ther must be an easier way to rescue an embedded truck.

МОЛОДЦЫ!!! Терпение и труд машина целая!!! Трактористы молодцы!! Осушили вокруг машины потом граматно разгрузили машина на бок стояла могла и кузов полошить!!! Потом аккуратно вытащили!!! А могли как у нас это бывает навалится толпой и машину порвать или на бок в болото положить!!! Молодцы вытащили без повреждений не спеша!!! Машина целая и уверенно поехала работать дальше!!!
У нас бы одним эксковатором вытащили бы за пол часа.
А скорей всего вывод один - не льзя обезьян за руль садить!
