Rafael Nadal and Matteo Berrettini faced off in an epic first set tiebreak during their semifinal at the 2019 US Open.

The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

Both have played five setters to reach the SFs. Will be exciting to see who comes out more fresh.
Rafa has an extra day rest so it could help or worsen his form because hes the type to need match time to play well.
Age and fitness plays a huge tole tbh. Berritini has the advantage on that

How did Berrettini lose that tie break again?
Why does almost every thumbnail for tennis matchups (and many other sports showdowns) have to show who the winner is?? It ruins any kind of suspense about what you're going to see! Why not just show both players or just their names, and let us watch to see who won? Am I the only one bugged by this junk? Sheesh.
I put something in the way of the thumbnails when I search for the highlights! I just click the title which doesn't give anything away. I agree it's so annoying though.
Sometimes (very few) Tennis TV chooses the loser in the thumbnail, and I thought the loser gonna come back on losing the match, and then i got they chose the loser, those are utter surprise for me

Matteo choked this. His tiebreak vs Rublev in the fourth round was much more entertaining.
He didn't choke anything nadal had set much more earlier i remember watching this match live he wasted million break points before tie break
@@adriantroickic8477 Yeah, Nadal choked too, but he still won the set. Matteo clearly choked on his 2 set points in this TB.
