  • I think what Mike was implying is that if you a great fighter in the ring, people in the streets automatically view you as a physical threat should a altercation occur because of the damage you can do to a person with your hands, therefore aint gone be no talking, they automatically gone pull a weapon and you run the risk of getting murdered or seriously injured.

  • What Mike was saying was if you're a pro fighter everyone knows you and knows you can more than likely smash most people you come across on the street. And if you also walk around being a tough guy and getting in drama's with people than eventually you're going to come across someone who doesn't want to cop a beating so they will instead pull a gun or a knife and fuck you up that way. So it just doesn't pay to go around causing drama.

    @mattcollier7166@mattcollier71662 жыл бұрын
    • True enough, but if you're very FAST, strong AF,have ZERO telegraph, and have disarm training then he's dead as soon as he pulls a gun or knife on you. Why? Bc you're too skilled,too strong to easily overpower him and take it away once you get a grip on his gun arm/knife arm (I've done this multiple times...in training at least 😒). Plus, your handspeed gives you a decisive advantage combined with ZERO TELEGRAPH means your speed is amplified and ALOT HARDER to anticipate. You literally go from a stand still to LIGHTNING FAST move executed on him BEFORE his brain can even register that you just moved. If he's in melee range with a gun... he's an idiot.😒😒😒💯💯💯

But guys like Zab Judah, Mike Tyson (partly), James Toney, Muhammad Ali of course, Robinson and others made real good atmosphere above it . I like boxing not only for boxing, but for boxers too. They all really pleaseant and brilliant people for me. If u see on ufc and all this stuff, they don't have even part from this. So thank you, legends ❤

  • Not disagreeing with Zabs point because it's true as well, but I think Tyson meant you're doubling your chances of dying. You're already in a ring fighting, and that's dangerous. Now you're a tough guy in the street, and that's dangerous as well, so you won't last long.

    @ddt8883@ddt88832 жыл бұрын
    • Yeah, but I think Nate Diaz or Bas Rutten said that being a fighter ITSELF causes a’holes to push you, once people learn that you’re well known as a fighter. Diaz said that he’d go to bars and suddenly a drunk ex-football player wants to prove they’re still tough by rocking Nate Diaz then telling his buddies. Zab was talking more about the fact that professional ring fighting requires us to be civilized, cuz we lose points if we have no serious respect for rules - while on the streets , a bully gets their ‘power’ from being a totally different type of psychopathic person who enjoys crushing civilized rules. a true professional ring-fighter doesn’t operate like that. So in that sense, Zab is right - you can’t be both things at once.

Anywhere in America, if u can prove that you were protecting yourself, you can do so legally. With that being said, it's important to know when you are out numbered in a sudden dangerous situation. 2 vs 2 is sometimes 2 vs .5 because if you have to worry about your safety and the safety of another you are not going to be as effective as if you had to worry about yourself.
