Awesome seeing the sketch come to life!
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection kzhead.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
Love the way the live edge was used and of course the fit of the pieces is just gorgeous. A very classic piece with some unique features that really stand out. I don't have the patience to handcut dovetail 😂
First. The piece looks fantastic. SUGGESTION: Within the groove that holds the glass, insert a thin strip of felt or urethane to soften the sound of the glass as the doors close. Or, use thicker glass. Same thing can be done with the magnetic catches. Recess the magnets ~1mm so a felt or urethane sheet layer is flush with the wood surface. In both cases, the doors may close quieter.
