Friday Night Funkin' is a free-to-play and open-source rhythm game. Developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, the game has a play style reminiscent of Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper with an aesthetic reminiscent of Flash games popular in the early-mid 2000s on platforms such as Newgrounds.

    • Sheesh what an overhaul! That section is very well done and crazy with all the background characters and their redesigns just hangin’ out! All of their new sprites are insane, especially Fleetway’s and Lord X’s! Those are the craziest ones for me! The dialogue just keeps getting better and better, and it seems to be a story building up! And compared this one to the old one? It absolutely blows it out of the water!

  • 1:11 Shadow is in this cover despite being shot by Pibby in Chasing - Tails gets corrupted, so either A: Shadow survived and retreated to heal, or B: this is a different Shadow.
