I've only been listening to James for about a year there are entrancing qualities to his music it seems throughout his albums it is the journey that is the destination. He goes places and his music becons upon the listener multiple listenings to grasp what is truly going on. Its as if though he's not playing harmonies that play well together but something far more complex that has the music finding its harmonies serendipitiously. Its so organic and the sound does not sound contained within a small spectrum but like its coming from somewhere else on the Earth at the moment he sings his angelic harmonies someone else is playing the music that beautifully juxtaposes and harmonizes with his voice vibrating in the ether unknowing that elsewhere on this small blue dot other elements are forging their way together. It is dark music with the brightest of light. It is discordance with the most whimsical and other worldly harmonies, textures, complementary and like ice in water they are of the same substance but different at the same time. Thanks for the music. It is a journey you are taking me on and it is one i so willingly feel is necessary to take. Simply amazing. Thank you
