The only player you can watch his 50 best shots 22 minutes video without being bored for just one second

i just did that
Chino ríos too
Why du you have the same pb
Yeahhh
Once he decides to finish his career, it's going to be a sad day for tennis. Unfortunately, his accomplishments never followed his enormous skills, but he will be remembered as a tennis artist with an eternal smile on his face.
Top 15 in the world for more than 10 years.. that's something...
Well I honestly feel like players who have won a bunch of ATP 250,500 titles as he has have a lot to be proud of, hell even just one. He has entertained a lot of fans and sure does have some real trophies to show for it
@@Kooooyooooy he did play in the Roger, Rafa, Djoko era. Basically, very few opportunities to win Grand Slams. He should be proud of his career.
He lost to the Big 3 an absurd number of times. 2-14 against Nadal, 4-10 vs. Fed and 0-17 against Djokovic. That's 41 tournaments ended too soon by legendary talent. The man was simply born at the wrong time. If he existed in the Sampras/Agassi/Becker era he would have multiple SF and F appearances in major tournaments. Alas, he encountered three men who each achieved tennis perfection at some point in their careers.
Less of a tennis player, more of a practical joker
He plays for fun, not money. I'm glad he makes enough money that I get to see him play.
hes earned over 14 million dollars in his career mate he earns well more than enough
@@josephhunter1627 hes made almost 20 mil
Simon probably closer to 30 with sponsors
@@josephhunter1627 yeah I was talking about just prize money
@@josephhunter1627 he hasnt even won a grand slam thats insane
How could one ever get bored watching Monfils play........certainly the greatest entertainer tennis has ever seen!!! 😲😲😍😍
One of the only few players, who can make the whole crowd go crazy.
it's so nice to see a guy who actually has fun and sees the lighter side of the sport, that's why i love him
I like he
He is such an athletic and amazing player. It's nice seeing him do well
The No 50 doesn't look like No 50. But hey, this is Gael Monfils we're talking about
I have never watched this much tennis...this guy is someone special!
Time slows down when Monfils is chasing a dropshot
I remember starting tennis after seeing my first Monfils' matches on TV, when I was a very young boy. I don't care that he doesn't have the biggest palmares or any of that stuff , This man is the biggest wildcard in this sport, and I love it.
He's the Gaucho Ronaldinho of tennis! He plays with joy and a lot of skill.
I was thinking the exact same thing while watching the Video!
Magic video, not one second of boredom. Yet, lacks the match point in the U.S open when Monfils jumped, turned 360° in the air and smashed.
This is the atp channel, they don’t have rights to post grand slam videos, such a shame…
@@adamalouani Ooh U right! I didn't understand because especially in Wimbl and RG e played awesome shots 🥴
@@adamalouani thanks for the precision
The last point is insane, we expect him to let the ball drop and hit a twiner or something, but he actually ends jumping 180 degrees towards the ball when it's rising, to hit a kind of smash. Fucsovics was so oblivious to that... he started to do his split step when Monfils actually hit the ball.
5:55 was I the only one who was confused for a sec what I was watching?
Monfils is Miracles - Respect sir... Thank you for giving us your brand of tennis.
With the crowd on his side Monfils is such an inspired tennis player. He is really impressive. Great fighter. I'm a fan of this guy.
What a super nice guy. And plays for the crowd. Congratulations on 500 tour wins and wishing many more ahead 👍🏽👌🏽👏🏽
No sólo es show monfils tiene una técnica increíble..q no e visto a muchos jugadores..incluso contestar con tu mano menos habilidosa es ya algo increíble..y responder en el aire con una precisión increíble ...grande monfils....gracias por tu tenis
One of the best athletes on tour!
I've been entirely watching tennis for 2 straight hours. the one who keep me doing it was this guy. molfils, you mau not won any title but surely the people's champion was you. radiates what it feels like to play tennis by heart.
title should be: "Opponent got winning point but Monfils says NO"
Гаэль один из немногих, который показывает не просто красивую игру, он играет Мастерски красиво !
His shot against Meltzer at Roland Garros is definitely Top 10, but since the footage isn't owned by ATP I can understand why they left it out.
Commentators watching Monfils play be like: Anotha one!
#1 was def my favorite. hope he stays around for a few more years. tennis wouldn't be the same without him.
13:52 learning lesson never let Monfils grunt 😂
The ease of his game is just raw skill, superb entertainment 😀
This man is the AIR JORDAN OF TENNIS 🎾! Wow! ❤
Is my fav player and I am glad that i have seen him playing for 12 13 years
This is my first time seeing him play. I like watching him. I really like that he doesn't grunt while hitting the ball.
5:55 that ohhhh😩
This is the first time i ever enjoyed watching tennis.
Amazing player I hope he can continue at a high level and keep up the highlights
Him and Nick Kyrgios are what's keeping tennis truly thrilling and entertaining to watch. More power to tennis stars like both of you.
Not only he was goooood player, he just loves to hear fans roaring and cheering for him. He played make fan happy!!!
The best definition of i do best under pressure and i show off when not under pressure. Finally a reason to watch tennis, this guy is entertaining frfr 🔥
20:58 ! WTF! while falling, passing shot with his left hand.. INSANE!
19:19 MY FAVORITE ONE
5:55 woman: *moans* man: yes!! announcer: what a mighty forehand that was! and again he's doubled up afterwards trying to catch his breath
You should wonder why Kyrgios gets much more attention by media than La Monf. Both of them are good entertainers and most of people like seeing them when they play. On the contrary to my favourite tennis player (Rafa Nadal), they don’t mind playing some low percentage spectacular shots to entertain. But there are important differences as Monfils: - behaves well on and off court - is well liked by his tennis mates who find him very funny and nice. - is never rude or unkind to neither his mates, nor the umpires or the expectators. You see Nick, you should take notes and learn something my friend… ;) ;)
stfu, and quit trying to make carbon copies of people and enforce your own behavior code. the ONLY reason humanity contains beauty, achievement, art, innovation, and intrigue whatsoever is that we're comprised of different elemental qualities. kyrgs doesn't need your sermon. he's just a dude who's unwilling to put on airs. his head gets existential. he has different motivations and different goals. that's it. he adores monfils, and yet he isn't monfils. thank god. get over it, quit with the patronizing 'my friend' he'll never read, and quit with the sanctimony, thx
@@DanielBoonelight Are you giving me a sermon and telling me not to do so? Isnt't that an hypocritical behaviour? I like watching Kyrgios because he is a good entertainer. No problem if he focus more in social media than in his own tennis game, but I would very much like he wold not direspect any of his mates, umpires, clay courts and so on. Can you understand that? Moreover a week ago in Winston Salem, he was "smart" enough to withdrew a few minutes before his match against Murray, but he was given the money anyway as if he had played. I forget who said it but Gael believes, "It's not whether you win or lose it's how you play the game". I'd love to meet him.
Come on, you have to realize how in #s 29 and 5 Monfils just completely anticipates and immediately follows through on a dime to move forward from his passing shot to meet the best possible shot from the opponent!! What vision.
I remember tuning into tennis, I didn’t know who Gael Monfils was, until he made one of his signature moves, instantly became my favorite player.
A video of his awesome dance moves on the court could be edited as well. No boredom and super captivating.
Monfils defeated de minaur...welcome back to form Monfils 🔥
Basketball and Tennis unstoppable
Great compilation. He's a phenomenon
I love Monfils. He makes me smile :)
BRILLIANT !
Absolument époustouflant. Inimitable 😮❤😅
Pleasure to watch. Thanks, Gael
one day we will look back on the best of Monfils...............1 Love his tennis 2023
Это какой-то праздник жизни, господа! Браво!!
So happy to see the one in Queens again. It really seems impossible to make that shot
Definitely my favourite player on Tour so fun to watch
what a player
One time Monfils said cool hair to me and I was so amazed Monfils is just an amazing player
One of the greatest ❤🔥💯
Monfils is the best player....he plays for his fans....🥰
If he ever win grand slam, that would be most deserved grand slam ever
يعني رياضة تنس والله أحيانا بتضحكني وتجعلني أتحمس أكثر و أكثر ❤❤😂😂
Gael is one of my favourite players of all time
Most players' best ever shot wouldn't even make this list
They should of added the Melzer Monfils diving volley at Rolland Garros 2009 match as well.
atp shots dude. not grand slams.
No.3: Left-handed-forehand-passing-shot-while-doing-the-splits-on-the-ground
pshh I see those all the time! Lol
How is 49 the 49th best shot.... that was pretty damn good
Because this is Monfiles
@@kevj745 good point
Perhaps he didn't win grand slam, but his role in rasing popularity of tennis you can't underestimate. Highly intertaining content😍👍🔥
a lovely man ❤️❤️❤️
Its crazy how they always miss the one with ferrero at the us open 2009, that one was his best one! Nothing comes close to it
master of trickshots!
THE GOAT OF TRICK SHOTS Nick Kyrgios, Justin Brown, Fabrice Santoro etc, although they are great, none of them come even close. He did not win any Gran Slam, but he certainly did win my full admiration for his unparalleled skills.
Amazing Gael!!!
This guy and Dustin Brown their really amazing 🤩
He gone make me start watching tennis
I like him , he is cheerful man! 👍🏽
Never ever watched tennis this long 😂🎉
Great video
Que talento, que energía positiva emana este chico. Pocos quedan así en el circuito. Si fuera más consistente sería un crack. Pero no se puede tener todo
I really hope he wins 1 grand slam
Excellent 👌🤯🇫🇷
There really is not many players with top 50 shot and rally lists as good as this.
Like Jordan on the tennis court DAMM ICE 🥶COLD
Nem vindo de volta Já não era sem tempo 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Digo Bem vindo de volta Já não era sem tempo Parabéns👏👏👏👏👏👏
I feel like y'all are tryna hype him up so he doesn't retire lol.
Il est incroyable et il est français ! Meilleur athlète du tennis ever :)
Автор видео пересмотрел 50 матчей Monfils что бы могли посмотреть эту подборку) Спасибо!
The fact that after every shot I want to like the video and I realized I had liked the video before I started says it all...
Thanks☺🙏👍
Gael is so fucking cool, always puts on an amazing show
He is Awesome 👌
Monfils gets criticized a lot for not being "serious" and not putting in his best effort to win a grand slam. How about tough straight-faced professionals like Ferrer, Verdasco, Gasquet, Simon, Isner, etc who always "played seriously" and put in their best effort but still didn't win one? Fact is...the era of the big three was the hardest to win a grand slam in. So I'm glad Monfils played to enjoy himself, made millions, won some titles, and is still playing. Sometimes, a few people are just better than others no matter what others do or don't do.
Gael would have been by far the best player on the planet behind the big 3 if he hadn’t suffered injury and had better mental strength
When monfils goes in God mode
It would be nice to see him win a major instead of just playing random fun points. He's got the talent.
It's indescribable,,,
Legend
I love him so much... he s not acting like diva... ever
For me, he comes right after Federer..., in the Category "crazy/genius" Shots" He is super special.
Oh, come on! You are forgetting some “No Way!!!” Points: 1) burning forehand against Djokovic (Davis Cup 2010) 2) extremely long rally against Ferrero (Montreal 2009) 3) 190 km/h forehand against Kecmanovic (Paris 2021) 4) burning forehand against Gonzalez (US Open 2014) 5) another burning forehand against Nadal (Monte Carlo 2016) 6) burning forehand against Baghdatis (Australia 2007) 7) the 5 consecutive points against Nishikori to come back in the tiebreak…no just 1 point (Montreal 2017)
