My 3 Dogs React to the Weenie Challenge!

  • My dog would have gotten every one of those. He has zero finesse, he goes for the full blown tackle, and anything in his way - or not - gets bit. He lunges at everything, invariably will take your fingers off if given half a chance. You'd think we starved him.

  • Whilst it is a bit of fun, I do think it is also teaching the dogs to snatch at food and could lead to them doing the same in other situations and accidentally biting.

  • Hate to be that person but be careful what your play is teaching your dogs. This seems like a good way to teach your dogs to snap at food and not let go. This is bad for both when giving a treat by hand and having your fingers chomped as well as when food is not meant for them.
