Think about how much it costs to build on the continental US then multiply that by 1.5-2 times. Remember that a good percentage of the locals inherited their homes. They were land rich and money poor.

I have never heard of anything like that. In my entire life, places have tornadoes and stuff like that. All the time, wildfires and whatever. I've never heard anything about toxins before. For that being the sole reason you can't rebuild. Sounds like something sketchy.

I can understand the water situation during the fire...if multiple homes burn down then so does the faucets and fixtures that keep the water at bay...if they fail then you have full water pressure leaking out...that would cause a major drop in water pressure withing the whole system... like when you are taking a shower and someone uses the sink and washing machine and garden hose at the same time then your shower pressure wouldn't drop

WE are waiting for the government to release us from a yoke the government directs our mobility with? WE are victims of only one thing, apathy. The day WE choose to stop funding non elected officials who actually manage our government and our future, is a day we can begin to manifest real change. Nobody is going to bite the hand that gives them $700....especially from a place that had its land stolen from them in a collaboration between the US government and the elites in Hawaii. The people of Maui got $700 each in stimulus checks. Maui got $500 million total to rebuild. Military equipment is extremely expensive compared to house building. If you’re against aiding Ukraine for one reason or another, read upon the Budapest Memorandum.
