A good place to begin is with basic tutorials that cover the fundamentals of digital art, like understanding your software, basic drawing techniques, and using layers. KZhead have tons of beginner tutorials that can guide you step by step!! As for drawing faces, practicing with simple shapes and gradually adding details as you gain confidence can be really helpful. I'll definitely consider making some tutorials that start from the basics of digital art to help out beginners like you. Keep practicing, stay curious, and you'll see improvement over time.
