I think that arsenal want to bring that English style mainly at the back when wenger arrived from Japan..the back four and the goalkeeper were English.. Arteta wants to bring that culture back..

Ramsdale means like Enda Stevens has time on the ball because no one would be around him to tackle him so he will have "time" to relax and pick out a pass instead of being under pressure not knowing whether there is an opposing team player around him
Hopefully Ramsdale can see the ball next season
