No ways ..2.5 lakh and below ...I think Triumph can't prize it keeping in view the quality they are offering ........2.5 and above why buy this ..buy a 650 by adding 50/70 thousand
I don't think they are. Indian people will never leave Enfield. I don't know why it is. But we never do. I sold my std 350 in 2020 because it's underpowered for a 200 kilo bike. But I find myself looking at enfields, even though there are better motorcycles. And I still look at army disposal enfields and will buy one in the near future. It's kind of a like a dumb emotion 😂😂😂😂

I welcome the 400cc class back, easy to ride, fun and still able to tour etc. They should never have gone away. 👍
Completely agree, my 700 is fun and fast but in a way that'll easily get me in trouble. The 400s are light and fun in a way that doesn't mean I need to break speed limits just to enjoy riding.
I just want to know about the height... I'm 5.2 can i be comfortable with this in controlling my balance??
@@gladiussunn824You’ll be fine on these. You won’t get your feet totally flat but it’ll be easily manageable.

I love the twin outlet silencer, its like the designers recognized people wanted a 400 twin… and then delivered a single. Hopefully the price reflects it.
The 1973 Triumph Avenger TR5MX (leftover BSA B50MX) had the same twin muffler system.
The price for Speed 400 was unveiled in India today for a killer £2,229.51! only. So you are most probably looking at £4500 to £5000 out there.
Honestly I'd much rather a 400 single, there's just no point in the added weight and width of a twin in a bike like this.
On to a winner with these beauties. The contrast with the Rocket engines behind the presenter made me smile.
It is incredible how triumph was smart with this project, while other brands just slap a logo on chinese bikes, they did such a wonderfull job with this one, congratulations on their decision, i will 100% buy it

,nope this bike will be manufactured in thailand, vietnam and indonesia for international exports. Bajaj will manufacture for india only
I bought the 900 and then the 1200 Scrambler… sold the 1200 and still kept the 900 as the allround, go anywhere, flick around town bike… experiments with other big bikes were OK… but I love the 900 Scrambler… I would buy the 400X because I like the small concept Scramblers from Triumph….
Styling is spot on, just need the price to be competitive, looking forward to the release date.

I wonder how vibrations will be. I traded the 900 Rally Pro because vibrations were so bad through the bars that it became painful to ride more than an hour. I'm not that old, but excessive vibrations are a deal breaker. Hopefully Triumph got it right this time. Lovely looking bikes and I'd happily trade my BMW F 850GS for one. Small bikes are a lot of fun and that scrambler looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person and throwing a leg over it. Well done on the looks Triumph!
I rode a cheap 125cc (als single cylinder) for a good bit, was alright. You just need to keep in mind that you can't expect 4cyl smoothness on these.
@Daniel-dj7fh I've riden singles, P-twins, V-twins, and in-line 3's for years. I've only had 2 bikes out of dozens that I've traded due to vibrations. The first was a kawasaki versus 650. The second (and by far the worst) was the Rally Pro. The previous version was a very nice bike and I occasionally regret trading her. Hopefully Triumph gets this one right. It has the looks and the specs look fine. So, if it's balanced, they can take my money. I'm really looking forward to a ride. I'm thoroughly looking forward to a small bike again, and this one looks the part.
@@mikemcmurray2506 From all the reading I've been doing it seems like the Triumph Engineers have been quite aware that excessive vibration in a little "thumper" like this will be a deal breaker for most of us,(as will a high price),it would appear that they have machined and balanced the internal of the engine to overcome this.On paper this bike really looks the goods and like yourself,I'm dead keen to throw a leg over one and see if its good, if it is then Triumph have got a sale from me.

@@Hutchys-Adventure-Tours I did, even that didn't work. Seriously, I tried every trick there is. Some bikes just resonate at the wrong frequency. Simple as that.

The Scrambler actually looks like the Lifan KPM 200, from the tank stripe, to the brown seat. Lifan also has a twin exit exhaust available. Still nice to see small displacement bikes again

This is brilliant Triumph, just what motorcycling needs at this time, a lightweight yet capable motorcycle. Don’t let the Moto Journos pidgeon hole this as a new riders only bike. I’m in my late 50’s and this is just the type of bike I’m looking for as a second bike to my Ultra Classic, 890 Adventure, and Husqvarna 501. OK, make it the perfect 4th bike. 😂 I’m thinking I could reduce it to two bikes with a Triumph 400 Scrambler in the garage. I’ll be looking forward to seeing them here in the States some day. 👍 Scrambler for me please. 😊
I love it & reckon it be a hit I would have one.Scrambler is good being lightweight & motorway capable 19" front wheel. Harley Davidson just released X440 but only 27hp & 38Nm at 4000rpm so be real tourqie as Triumph 400 is 39.5hp & 37Nm at 8000rpm so be revy as HD X440 is peppy.

I really like the design off the bikes where the engine has those silver fake fins that make a virtual line to the tail of the bike. Cool stuff. but really love the scrambler 400x

Cleverly done. The Indian Company BAJAJ is the major stakeholder with ZERO mention here… high revs equal HIGH mpg… no fuel figures… clever styling techniques disguise the simplistic silhouette… a great styling exercise and I’m guess a price at £6000 … is it worth £2k more than a Royal Enfield Hunter 350?
I test rode the hunter 350 and really liked it a lot. To answer your question, you gotta test ride it. However, I don’t think triumph built these bikes to attract or entice potential hunter 350 buyers.
@@Thunder_Bear_mg they will look for the premium customers but it’s in the same “space/sector” as a RE Hunter. And yes. I like the Huntr also

@@Ash-qm6gr power isn’t everything. Fuel economy. Servicing costs. Initial purchase price. Triumph should not tout “extremely competitive pricing” and then pop them out for £6k plus. Not the same ball park at all

I see that the speedometer has a needle and that the rev counter is digital, I would have loved to have seen it (as my 2017 Tiger 800 had). but otherwise, they're great! They're great!

Estou de olho na 400X, mas somente se ficar abaixo dos R$28.000,00 reais. Ma estou preocupado: o primeiro lote será adequado ao nosso combustível? A Himalayan da Royal Enfield sofreu muito, modelos de 2019 e 2020 penaram com o nosso combustível. Acredito que não será diferente com a Triumph.

I hope it can adapt to our weather here in the Philippines. Common issue of triumph here in PH is it’s engine is so freaking hot.

The Bajaj's Dominar 400 is already a tested and proven motorcycle in the Philippines. So, I hope this new Triumph 400 won't have a problem with heating.

Really hope the price in the Netherlands won't be too high. Here all bikes are pretty expensive due to tax ect. If it's the same price as a ktm or husky I'd prefer this over it and buy it. but if its more, then me and many others won't be able to afford it. (thats also why the Honda cbr500 series doesn't do that well here). Wonder what it will be...

Is the new bike in the US market?
I already booked speed 400 on 6th July. But didnt recieved any update yet about my booking. Tried reaching out the dealer but didnt received any response.
Great looking bikes, my only concern would be the rear monoshock; in my experience monoshock tend to be non-ajustable and really hard.Might entice RE to deliver even more value 😂😂😂. I also think these are not available before Spring 2024, a canny move to stop potential buyers of RE. Also Triumph unlike BSA have an established dealership 👍👏
Lower end bikes tend to scrimp on rear shock & front forks. To keep pricing down. Most usually have preload adjustment on the rear shock. Can put an after market rear shock on. Either off the shelf or custom valved & length. The issue is not that it is a mono shock. Used on dirt bikes, street bikes, race bikes, to great success. Issue is saving a few bucks on cost to build. Easily changed.
@@SinOjosWeb I tried to get an alternative on the XSR I owned either spring or complete shock and was unsuccessful; in the end the bike had to go as it was just so uncomfortable.
@@Bob-3639 I have no idea where you are located. In the US there are multiple shops besides the big names. The big name shock & fork manufacturers usually have products for every budget. They will build shocks to your required length & valving & spring rate needs. Most cases they already build what you need. You simply need to figure what you need. Some times you can remove the attachment points on the existing stock shock and use them on a new one. Like automobiles. The same type of similar mount is used by multiple brands and or models. Sometimes it is as simple as replacing the spring with an after market one or original manufacturer. With a different spring rate and or length. Making those kind of changes are common. Same thing with the forks. Different spring rate, different valving, and or different fork oil weight. Stock spring & valving is for an all around use at the least cost. Google is your friend.
@@SinOjosWeb Indonesia, tried found no alternative as I said. Bike shop tried different spring but that was stiffer than than the OEM.
The video says that the mono shock is adjustable.
I was looking for a bike around this range and baam thankfully triumph dropped this . Don't even know the price yet but I'm definitely buying the Scrambler 😂 .

How does it sound? It’s interesting because single cylinders aren’t known for a good exhaust note but triumphs usually sound great.

I'am also waiting for the exhaust note. As a neo-retro it should sound that way other than a normal street bike

As a auto enthusiast, instead of hearing class leading, top spec, high quality, I would like to hear range, 0-100, top speed, etc. And let me decide whether it's class leading or not😅
Indeed, it's curious there's very little information in bike reviews about speed and acceleration which is basic in car reviews. When speeds are quoted they're not checked against GPS so you know when it says 70 you might be doing 60.
Why buy 400cc for 0-100 , instead buy litre or 1200cc

I hope we soon get to see Trumph bikes in Nepal. My deepest request for the Triumph manufacturers , plzz launch it here in Nepal. For this price range here we have the Honda CB , 390 duke and bla bla which is ofcourse good but for particular groups . This Triumph bike is perfect for those incl me who wanna cruise and do long tours . For a country with different terrains I think this bike is the best . So I hope you guys will soon launch it here in Nepal #Triumph_Lover❤

@@chrissy.v I dare you to find another contry that pay more in tax on bikes (and cars) then Denmark, we pay 85% in tax for bikes between 1.400 and 8.600 Euro and 150% on bike above that. Etc: a Triumph Trident is around 13.500 Euro or 11.500 £ out of the door.

Love the look and spec of both bikes. Regarding the Scrambler 400, it looks like the steep steering head angle makes it decidedly twitchy on the loose stuff. I guess we'll find out.
Steeper head angles are better for off-road. Just look at modern mountain bikes.

Although I can't afford any bikes I managed to go on some bike tours by renting bikes and i was a huge fan of Royal Enfield Himalayan because it was a complete bike for middle class people but now Triumph Scrambler 400X will take us Indian to next level of craziness this bikes is now my DREAM BIKE the most completely perfect the best bike people can afford
