the 'tattoos' Jimin had in this were fake at the time but he eventually actually tattooed the NEVERMIND on himself in correlation to the song and lyrics from one of Yoongi's songs (intro:Nevermind,) from then on he now has a 13 on his wrist, young forever on the back of his elbows, a 7 on the inside of his finger (matching with the rest of BTS), the word youth behind his ear, and a sequence of moons going down his back, so besides Jungkook he is 2nd most tatted.

When I think about it they never really watch performances right? I mean today they‘re pretty embarrassed when watching older performances (themselves basically which is relateable) but no one can deny they still slayed no matter what

I agree Jimins duality is amazing. He comes across as shy and sweet , a little goofy at times of stage but put him on the stage he goes hard core, he changes a lot. I remember on interview Jimin said he is shy and RM said not on stage he isnt.

Fun fact: Zico and RM Knew each other since they were very young. They were both underground rappers before becoming idols. RM's name was RunchaRanda meaning "I am Runcha" and Zico's was Nakseo meaning "Scribble". They have a few songs together such as 'Gonna give it to ya' and 'Fuck Cockroachez'. Fuck cockroachez was recorded in 2008.

Zico, the rapper in Block B, was friends with Namjoon when they were both underground rappers and they used to perform together. Once Zico debuted as a kpop idol that kind of inspired Namjoon along with other underground artists to become idols. Zico is still known as one of the best and fastest kpop idol rappers, some of my favorite songs by him are; Veni Vidi Vici, I am you, you are me, and Seoul Drift.
to add on: he founded his own label KOZ (now under HYBE, too), had his last comeback in summer of 2022 and is now training his own boygroup. He is known to get crazy numbers like for "Any Song" he had so many PAKs and is accepted in both Idol and K-Hiphop circles.
this was really more of a collab stage instead of a versus battle but the other rapper was zico him and namjoon are friends and that's why you can see them hyping each other up during their songs zico is the leader and main rapper of block b they have really good music I would recommend you to check them out

Since then all the block b members have left i believe. Zico and the gang reunited for a performance in december with all the block b boys.

Jimin's tattoo was fake during this. But he eventually got a real Nevermind tattoo in the same spot. Jimin and Jungkook have a lot of tattoos now. And all 7 members have their friendship tattoo of the number 7 they got last year. This was an award show and BTS didn't really start gaining popularity until 2015.
Suga, my boy 😭 they've grown, but let me tell you they keep this energy. My guys, you need to see more performances. The boys had something to prove back then, but they still kept their intensity. Certain songs work better with a softer image, and others work well with a harder one. BTS can pull both styles off to this day. Their title tracks may have changed style a little but in their B-sides you'll find more intense stuff from past to present. And the members themselves? They can really kill it either way! JHope is a god at freestyling and hip-hop, but he can pull off the artsy Black Swan really well. Jimin has contemporary training, but his roots are in popping and you'll see him do that and isolations and flips and such in fairly recent performances. Yes, they're goofs offstage. I love the funny clips (less so the out of context cringy tiktok ones lol) but just speaking personally I followed BTS mainly because of the performance, and here's hoping you'll see more 👍 (It's funny you mention 2018 as the year they blew up, because it was then I became a fan haha)

the rap lyrics RM wrote was savage but yeah this is a friendly match and RM and Zico was actually in the same underground team when they were young and RM was 14 and Zico was 16. BTS now all have tattoos now matching tattooes but jimin and jungkook have the most
jimin still performs exactly like that on stage lol he’s always been super expressive and confident on stage…and if anything he’s even more confident now than back then also jimin has like around 10 tattoos, he’s actually the first one out of the whole group to get a tattoo
The question about Jimin is a bit complicated, sometimes he wasn't really comfortable with looking so sexy, but he wanted to keep that image, with a lot of "masculinity", and at first he didn't have much confidence in his voice. If you watch more current performances you will see that he mixes being sensual, cute, hot and delicate at the same time. He's grown so much and become so confident in himself, it's beautiful to see. And his tattoos there weren't real, but then he got the "Nevermind" on his ribs, and he has several tattoos, including the moon cycle on his back And I'm sorry for my English, it's my 5th language so it's a little difficult for me

Actually Jimin was always like that, with the difference that before he had to be sexy and very "masculine", now when dancing he is still sensual but in his own style and changing his mood according to the style of music, which makes him his personal brand and that's why he always has all the attention

You can say the same thing about award shows geared towards actresses and actors and movie production side. It's even more so they can't even smile. They act so serious and that's why when a singer or group are asked to perform at the award ceremony they tried to avoid it because the energy is not there and they find it quite awkward. Even tho Mamamoo did a great job interacting with the audience asking them to stand up and sing/dance. They actually did not all but most looked happy to be there lol.

Namjoon and Zico (the guy he "battled") met during their pre-debut, underground days. They even have a collab, F*ck Cockroachez which can be find here on YT as lyrics videos. HYBE bought the label previously owned by Zico, KOZ, so they're under the same umbrella now

They actually change their style every year but jimin change a lot. There's so difference between their personality now and back then.
Jimin is kind of shy and cute etc but it's not his only side, he is also always going hard on stage, doing all kinds of sexy sh!t and freestyle dancing and his jokes can be on the dirty side too but yes he is also supercute and soft and the nicest little been. And he also is very athletic and trained in multiple martial arts and Taekwondo black belt and often really muscular and strong. I think people just have boxed hm in as cute lately and you who are newer get to know him as just that and think that means that that is all he is. Multifaceted is what he is.

jimin and jungkook have the most tattoos in bts but all 7 members have 1 tattoo at least. jimin has nevermind tattooed on his ribcage since 2015 then got more in recent years. the writing that went down his side was a fake tattoo but the one on the other side sideways was real. during this time they were all still trying to find who they are some of them had this bad boy persona like jimin and jin but they later became more themselves around 2016-2017 thats why they seem so different now cause theyre grown men who know who they are now not little boys trying to be someone theyre not.

Bts during their menace era,2016 was when they first starting really l guess “blowing up “ in Korea and 2018 was when they were really rising in America
They did win almost all the rookie awards (MAMA refused to invite them but technically I think BTS was nominated). So they actually did well from the beginning but mediaplay hid that.
You should definetely react to zico. I know a lot of people are going to hate on me for saying this, but IN MY OPINION he is the best idol rapper. He is loved by the general public which makes him unique and is always admired for his rap. I would also check out block B. They aren't very active anymore, but they are ATEEZ' sunbaes. It just goes to show you how good they are. But yeah, if you want any more good korean rappers, please check out BEWHY. He is my favorite korean rapper. Definetely check out gottasadae and side by side.

I swear kpop 10 years ago was MUCH MORE LIT 🔥 I don't know how to explain but the award shows were much more fun, the artists are all having fun. I'm army and BTS deserve the recognition they finally gets now but 2nd generation of kpop back then is GOLD ✨ The day when all literally ALL kpop group is a success.

I highly recommend checking out Block B. They are an older group who have mostly gone solo, but they went hard in their day. The song playing when they entered is "Nilli Mambo". It's a fun MV. The Rapper, Zico has some great solo songs as well as part in the amazing song "Rosario". The song features CL, Zico with Epik High (who are some of BTS' role models. Everyone's role models, really).

They were not noticed when they started in 2013 because their company was small and even on the verge of bankruptcy. The performance is from a k-pop award show called MAMA awards. You should definitely look into more MAMA- or award show performances in general. All artists make a big deal out of it and it’s usually so lit! Performances from MAMA 2014/2015 is definitely a good place to start. As well as Melon Music Awards. JHope and Jimin excellent dance skills are shown here @ 3:39 and Especially Jhope landing on one knee and back up again then falling back on the ground with both knees bent is SO IMPRESSIVE and uniquely his own style! Whereas the others' dance skills on stage here pale in comparison to what JHope can otherwise do dance-wise. @ 4:15 Jimin also has a powerful presence in his dance moves; he has good definitions on the muscles of his body! No wonder the women swooned in delight to watch ;-).

I know I'm late to this, but I'm always so happy to see Block B get recognition!! 👏 Huge fan of them, and they've been through a lot of stuff. Held together by sheer determination and bond, since the companies fumbled them so much. Hard to see that in the Kpop scene TBH. They are legit though, because they were some of the front-runners of K-rap in the Kpop scene! They were originally made to supplement Eminem (It was their company's goal). Zico, their leader produced a lot of their songs and was def in the 'underground' scene with RM. Their vocal talent still remains some of the most unique. They really shook the scene back in the 2010s when Kpop was still focused on 'pretty-boy' groups. Even got into some controversies 😂 Love them a lot still. Their music still hits hella hard
