“De La Cruz can fly.” Understatement of the year.😂
When was the last time a player hit a home run and an inside the park home run in the same game?
Can’t say league wise but the last Reds player to do it was in 1981.
Amed Rosario did it in 2021
@@bkotake very cool
@@nutman2909 impressive
@@nutman2909was about to say, espn would probably find a date like 58 B.C. or something 😂😂😂
I LOVE the "the windmill is on!" !!!!!
Everything about that inside the park home run was electric! From De La Cruz’s speed, to the play call from the announcer, to the roar of the fans! Gave me goosebumps.
The only thing missing was a play at the plate
How is it determined if it is an error by the centerfielder or not? And where is the right fielder, are they playing without one?
@@ckobo84 a baserunner"s speed can cause errors because the fielder knows he has to be urgent.
the fact that hes that strong AND that speedy is just absurd
ELLY DE LA CRUZ IS UNREAL!!!!! THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! GO REDS!!!!!🔴⚾🧢👊😎👍🧢⚾🔴
I love De La Cruz. He is definitely a 🌟 on the rise.
This my favorite player of all time tbh I been a reds fan since 2009
By far the most exciting player in baseball right now.
Bot even close dude 😅
You def dont watch baseball @@ApacheCripTx
@@ApacheCripTx dang you're a casual
Yes, shohei cant pitch right now so od say elly is most exciting at this moment
@@tpc6236 doesn't matter if he was. Act like you have sense
All around a true baseball player, destined for the history books.
i don't blame him for watching that first one
At that point it's not even a pimp job, it's a "wow, I did that?"
Great call from the announcer. Great energy, great imagery with the words.
This is literally the best thing i have ever seen on a baseball field
Dude is a switch hitter and100m track star what more could you ask for?
Contact and consistency. He has struck out 161 times in 432 at-bats, and his OPS+ is only 98.
It's not that he hit both kinds of home runs, it's that the regular one was 450 feet... The league is full of guys that can run around the bases in 14 seconds - every team has one or two - but none of those 14-second guys can hit a 450 bomb except Elly
are you telling us what the thing really is
Elly is magnificent MLB player.❤❤❤!
CF turned a routine single into a spectacular ITP HR. Elly’s got some very serious skills. Budding superstar? Enjoy the ride, Reds fans. 😉
He’s a freak of nature
i was today years old when i realized he's a switch hitter.
That's insane
All around great player and entertaining to watch ❤👏🏽
As a Red Sox fan, I can see De la Cruz as the next reds great after votto
That is so damn cool, one home run 450 ft and the other doesn't even leave the park..lol
Right!! 👊😎👍
lets not look pass the fact that they came from opposite sides of the plate!
is he shaping up to be one of the best reds ever, this dude is insane to watch
BEAST
Great game for the fans !
I've been watching the Big Red Machine since Pete Rose was a rookie all star, and rookie of the year. He was a switch hitting Charlie Hustle, and still the record hits King. Elly Dela Cruz has more power and speed, and he has the same Charlie Hustle attitude. We don't see many switch hitting anymore and especially not for power.
What's that now, his third inside the park home run in two seasons? What a gem.
finally! drafted him in fantasy over seager, I drank the red koolaid heavy
I like this kid he fun to watch, From a Braves fan
Felt like I was watching a derby race somehow🔥Only 22 years old WOW
When he got the 2nd hit I was about to jump the gun and claim the caption for the video was misleading...but it was actually the distance of the hit that miseld me 😅
For some reason it's so satisfying watching a home run where the outfielders barely even move.
I think elly could really hit an inside the park home run in every inning
You can tell hes a natural lefty..such a better and smoother swing on the left side
Wtf 😳 this guy is a monster.
Best player ive ever seen honestly.
Power+Speed=EDLC.....
He's the most freakishly athletic player since Bo.
Is he as fast as Bo was?
@@frankmeyers7304 Pretty darn close
YES HES ON MY FANTASY TEAM.
He is nbr 2 favorite player
Elly De La Cruz was the only person who could throw himself out at the plate on the inside the park home run.
Dude was bending them plates 😂😂 dude got some wheels and he hit a home run to same game
Love rede because of cruz
I make it a point to watch Dela Cruz, even though Cincinnati’s not my team
Sophomore from Mississippi State: hold my beer💀😂⚾
That was a missile 🚀
Make this guy a Yankee NOW!
Guy charges the ball...doesn't get it...rushes the throw...overthrows. De La Cruz is so fast he's forcing the defense to make more mistakes to try and keep up. Lord he is fun to watch. And the Brewers seem to be his whipping boys sometimes.
He flies
"Eric the Red" 2.0...
You just don't dive on a Elly hit unless you're 100 or it's inside the park always.
Yeah, that was a boneheaded play. But Elly deserved the HR
He almost had it.
@@0ompaLoompa I mean, it bounced in front of the glove…by MLB standards, that’s not close.
Most MLB players would have only got a single here
I forgot he was a switch hitter
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Those pitches weren’t even close to 90mph! Wow lol
Biggest fear as an outfielder… those “tweener” balls.
Complete Stud
He did an inside home run against the Atlanta Braves this guy is awesome.
inside the park homers are cool but most of the time its a base hit that gets past or is a hit that should be an error
He will be a Yankee or Dodger as soon as his contact expires, MLB hates small market teams.
Thee power of thee black panther has NOT been stripped away
Bro he's Dominican Hispanic that mantle can not be held by anyone dark skinned 😂 seriously. Call him donni express or something else.
Pretty sure that no player in the history of the MLB has ever done it from both sides of the plate?
Enjoy him now, fellow Reds fans......You have to figure that the team won't be able to afford him for very long.
Horrible decision by Frelick to dive. Turned what would have been a 1-out single into a HR.
TWO HR's from BOTH SIDE OF THE PLATE? That would be 4 total home runs if I'm reading that correctly. Who's the proof reader?
La Cocoa
He's not really running that hard tho. He's just got long strides!
That guy must eat alot of fish, green smoothies, protein shakes and Wheaties with oatmeal in it and bananas in it.
Should not have gone for the dive
That’s a terrible play by the centre fielder. You don’t take a chance with that player on the pads n a ball hit that sharply. Just a a selfish stubborn play. But that first one was certainly a nuke job.
I don't have his card. why???
they didn't rule that as an error though?
Usain Bolt with dreads
Ah, grammar and syntax. Elly did NOT hit four home runs as the video title states.
Every time I've seen him play, all we got is 0-for-whatever.
Magic
Reds can hit and score, but their defense is embarrassingly bad
E8
If you keep standing at the plate staring at your hr and showing up the pitcher, you're going to get beaned
0:48 Wow such a weak girly throw from near second base. How is that guy even in the big leagues? 😂
It hit the mound, derp.
@@Krrrrk thanks captain obvious. it hit the mound because it was a weak throw.
@@jasonrosete490I thought the same thing but he threw it pretty hard just low so it got a shitty bounce
Did that guy just throw the ball into the fucking pitcher's mound?
It's a 3-base error and not a home run at all. Don't get your hopes up.
Too bad he can’t play short stop he needs to get an outfield glove and move
Bro hit a bloop single and your gonna call it a spectacular home run? Very misleading.
Technically, it’s more misleading, calling it a single when it wasn’t. But in actuality was an inside the park home run.
How's that not an error lol
I am glad I have multiple Elly' s Bowman RC. I had to make up from Wander Franco's RC. What a waste of talent.
Nice going for future Dodger de la Cruz!
And the red still lost two out of three. One game of home runs does not make oh winner! Seattle is a mediocre team with a great player on it
Ahh...MLB. Where 2-3 teams hoard all the talent and buy their way to a championship. How delightful.😐
He needs to be a YANKEE
Dude cannot possibly need that black paint under his eyes. I mean, right?
God damn. Just drop the bat and run the god damn bases. Ffs.
First play to do it since Eddie Murray in 1990?
Eddie was one of my favorite players when I was a Youngin.... One of the best switch hitters....😮
